Tae Yoon glanced down at his phone and spoke casually.

– Sure. Take all the time you need.

“…That’s not what I meant.”

Gazing at the landscape—both similar to and different from Jeju’s stone-walled houses—Dan Woo thought of Ji An’s pained smile, her tears, and what he could possibly do for her.

When Dan Woo entered the house carrying the suitcase he’d taken on his Jeju business trip, Ji An was laying out bedding in the living room.

“I’ll sleep in the living room. That’s okay, right?”

“Yeah.”

Seeing Dan Woo insist on staying over, she grew thoughtful.
