Eun Ji’s phone rang while she lay side by side with Janice on the VIP room bed.

“Madam, your phone is here.”

Eun Ji checked the caller ID on the phone handed to her by the skincare specialist and saw it was Jae Yoon—then pressed the end call button.

Watching the phone ring repeatedly and seeing Eun Ji ruthlessly hit the end call button each time, Janice cautiously spoke up.

“Mom… Are you really not going to Dad’s tomorrow?”

“No.”

“You could just go together, convince him, and bring him back with us. Come on, Mom.”

“I said it’s fine.”

She’d ignored his calls all day, knowing full well Jae Yoon would inevitably ask her to come visit since he’d fixed up the house in the countryside.

If he had something to say, he should come up to Seoul himself.
