A large sedan came to a halt on the road in front of Lake Tower.
Before arriving, Dan Woo had called Ji An in advance and got out of the car to wait for her on the pavement blocks.
As soon as Ji An opened the apartment complex door and came out, Dan Woo straightened up and started walking.
When Dan Woo spread his arms, Ji An ran towards him and hugged him. After embracing Ji An tightly, he wrapped her petite figure with his coat.
While Ji An raised her head and smiled, Dan Woo’s lips also curved into a deep smile.
The two, their hearts connected, silently stared at each other.
“If you’re tired, we can go home right away. We can see each other’s faces tomorrow.”
Ji An asked Dan Woo, a smile still lingering on her face.
She knew the reason why Dan Woo hadn’t been coming to the library for a few days was because he had a lot of schedules.
“It’s not you. It’s me.”
Dan Woo, with Ji An wrapped in his coat, placed her in front of the passenger seat of the sedan and pulled the handle.
“Get in first.”
The inside of the car was dark, and the gazes they exchanged were filled with deep affection.

Ji An had been waiting for Dan Woo after work, expecting his arrival. Even though he didn’t call her out every day on his way home from work, there was never a gap of more than three days.
When Dan Woo handed her a shopping bag, knowing that it would contain snacks, Ji An laughed.
“What’s for today?”
“Strawberries.”
“Strawberries?”
Dan Woo gently shook a clear container filled with cleaned strawberries and whipped cream.
Then he opened the lid, picked up a strawberry with a cute fork, and put it in Ji An’s mouth.
Ji An had mentioned the macarons he bought last time were too rich for a latenight snack.
It seemed that Dan Woo didn’t dismiss that remark.
When Dan Woo put a strawberry into her mouth, Ji An smiled widely and began to chew. The taste of the strawberries mixed with the cream caused her eyes to widen spontaneously.
“It’s delicious.”
She reached out her hand as another strawberry entered her mouth.
“Give it to me. I’ll eat it myself.”
“It’s better if my hand is busy. That way, your mouth can do other things.”
“What do you mean?”
“…No special meaning. Just wondering when you’ll open your lips. I thought a kiss wouldn’t be too much.”
At Dan Woo’s honest words, Ji An laughed out loud and snatched the fork, placing a strawberry into his mouth.
“If that’s the case, your mouth should be busy too. … Let’s eat together.”
“The strawberries … are delicious.”
Dan Woo forced a smile, restraining the desire to touch and hold Ji An, which he felt just by looking at her.

He had created tasks for his hand in the confined space of the car, hoping for Ji An’s heart to open up.
Tasks like feeding her snacks or holding her hand.
He put a strawberry in Ji An’s mouth, and immediately after, into his own. Then, he curved his eyes and smiled as if asking ‘is it okay?’
Ji An laughed happily with her cheeks bulging. She enjoyed and was excited by the time she spent with Dan Woo.
Dan Woo enjoyed listening to Ji An’s stories, asking her about her day.
About the books she read, what she ate for lunch, and sometimes about a cat she saw on the street.
He felt like he spent the day with Ji An, even setting up a phone call while reviewing a report.
“What did you do after work?”
“I found a box when I moved here.”
At that moment, Dan Woo stretched out his arm and pressed Ji An’s lips.
As she looked at him with surprised rabbit eyes, he presented his thumb, which was smeared with whipped cream.
The cream, as tiny as an ant’s tear, disappeared into his mouth.

As Dan Woo shrugged his shoulders, Ji An laughed like the spring sunshine.
Dan Woo’s heart, which had been rigid, softened and swelled like fluffy cotton candy where it touched Ji An’s.
“What did you find in the box that made your eyes pop out like that?”
Ji An spun her round eyes downward as she continued speaking.
“I opened it wondering, ‘What’s this?’ and it was filled with scrubbies. There was a time when I was obsessed with making them.”
Ji An opened her phone and showed him a photo of the box filled with handknitted scrubbies.
It was a picture of scrubbies in various colors and shapes.
There were those shaped like fruits such as strawberries, oranges, apples, various flowers, and animals like cats, dogs, and rabbits.
She added more to the story as she pointed at the picture.
“I started making one or two out of boredom, but soon I found myself making them as soon as I opened my eyes. I’d fall asleep while knitting scrubbies, wake up and start again, even while eating. I think I was absorbed in it without realizing.”
“Are all these your work?”
Dan Woo looked at the picture of hundreds of scrubbies, surprised, and stared at Ji An’s hands.
It was not as if they were randomly generated at the push of a button like a computer program.
He could imagine her small hands holding a needle and thread, knitting away, and he smiled.

Ji An spoke about why she stopped knitting scrubbies as if it were a great deal.
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
