“Is that correct? Her Majesty the Empress does seem exceptional.”

Despite Her Majesty’s total lack of interest in women, it is undeniable that she is special for awakening such an instinct within her.

Markrom laughed to himself, thinking about what he truly wanted to say.

“You speak as if you’ve seen it. Markrom, has your vision returned?”

“It’s a feeling. And if my vision had returned, our duel would have ended long ago.”

“Ha? Boastful. You didn’t even know I was being lenient.”

Rinel chuckled as he removed the blindfold he had put on before the start of the duel.

“Your Majesty, you should speak truthfully. You weren’t being lenient, but being fair, weren’t you?”

“What?”

“I know. You covered your eyes.”

Markrom tapped his own eye with a finger as he spoke.

“Did your vision really return? How do you know all this?”

He waved his hand in front of Markrom’s eyes as he spoke.

“Three!”

“Ha? You guessed that too?”

Rinel stared at Markrom in admiration, pausing with his three fingers waving in front of Markrom’s eyes.

Markrom, who had lost his sight, was still focused.

“Perhaps it’s because you’re a Sword Master with exceptional senses?”

“That damn wizard… He should have sealed your mouth instead of making you lose your sight.”

“Hahaha, the wizard must have been out of his mind when I threw his severed arm into the abyss. Of course, it was Your Majesty who wielded the sword against his arm.”

“I should have just killed him right there.”

“Then we would never be able to lift our curse.”

“Anyway, the damn wizard disappeared without a trace for years, whether he sank into the ground or ascended into the sky.”

“If he’s not dead, he’ll definitely show up one day. Isn’t the time when the wyverns return to the Valley of Death approaching?”

“Hmm, indeed. This peace is slowly coming to an end.”

During their brief and heavy conversation, Rinel, who had sweated a lot, was rapidly losing body heat.

Stian, the chief attendant who had been waiting, quickly handed him a change of clothes that he had brought with him.

As Rinel changed his clothes, Markrom sat in a wooden chair, thinking deeply, then cautiously opened his mouth.

“Your Majesty, has a new Sword Master arrived at the palace?”

“You wouldn’t not know if a Sword Master arrived, would you? Why?”

“I occasionally feel a strong energy somewhere in the palace, so I asked.”

“Since when have you felt this energy?”

Rinel, having changed his clothes, dragged a wooden chair and sat in front of Markrom, asking.

Considering Markrom’s serious expression, he didn’t seem to be joking.

“Since… the day Your Majesty performed the national soul?”

“What?”

“Could there be a person from the Kingdom of Chatoniel who came with Her Majesty the Empress who excels in swordsmanship?”

“Could it be… Duke Martins?”

Rinel muttered quietly.

“Or… isn’t Her Majesty the Empress a great sword master?”

Markrom chuckled as he spoke, as if he was amused by his own absurd thought.

“You, since losing your sight, your sensitivity has gone down.”

There may be quite a bite when he swings his hand in his sleep, but what about our delicate wife?

“There’s nothing our sunflower can’t do.”

At his mocking laugh, Markrom also laughed, scratching his head.

“Prince Tesler sent this to the Empress?”

Duke Martins asked, examining a small jewel box given by Earl Rolf.

“Yes, Duke. Earl Ken directly delivered it.”

The jewel box was received by Earl Rolf when he met Earl Ken, a knight escorting Prince Tesler, at a location between the Kingdom of Chatoniel and the Raphion Empire this morning.

“It’s a jewel box, so he must have gifted jewels?”

“Would that be the case?”

He thought otherwise.

It was unlikely that Prince Tesler would suddenly send a jewel box to the Empress without reason.

“Did Prince Tesler send any message?”

“Yes. The prince said that Her Majesty the Empress would understand the meaning of the gift as soon as she opened the box.”

At Earl Rolf’s words, his eyes narrowed.

“And he also said that we should maintain our respect for each other.”

“Prince Tesler said that, did he…?”

The Duke of Martins could not contain his curiosity and opened the jewel box.

A cold chill spread into the air along with a hazy fog.

The jewel box was made of frost magic stone.

It was a magic stone used to preserve contents for a long time without getting damaged.

“A box with a freezing function. What on earth could be inside…”

“Huh, really?”

Viscount Rolf sneaked a peek inside the jewel box next to the Duke.

At first, it was hard to see what was inside because of the hazy cold air.

However, a few seconds later, as the smoke gradually faded, the reality of the gift sent by Prince Tesla gradually revealed itself.

“Goodness, oh my……!”

Viscount Rolf, who had been staring into the jewel box, stepped back with a grimace.

“Whose is this?!”

“Well, as Prince Tesla said, the Empress would immediately know. Who the owner of this is. Damn, I feel sick……”

The Duke of Martins, who usually had a weak stomach, quickly closed the lid of the jewel box.

“Duke, are you really going to present this to Her Majesty the Empress?”

“I don’t want to show it either, but I have no choice since the Empress could be in danger.”

The Duke of Martins decided that she should know about Prince Tesla’s warning.

He put the jewel box on the table, shook off his hand with a disgusted expression, and continued.

“And it’s a gift sent by Prince Tesla for the Empress.”

Viscount Rolf frowned at Duke Martins’ expression calling it a gift after seeing what was inside the jewel box.

“Do you also not know… whose it is, Duke?”

Viscount Rolf carefully looked at his master’s face and asked.

“I don’t know whose it is, but I do know who did it.”

“Hmm, why would Prince Tesla do such a thing?”

Viscount Rolf nodded and glanced at the jewel box and asked.

“A warning.”

“A warning? But according to the reports we forwarded, there was nothing for the Empress to be warned about, right?”

“That’s exactly it.”

“What is?”

“It seems like we’re not the only ones keeping an eye on the Empress in this palace.”

“Eh? Then… you’re saying the Prince has planted another person to monitor the Empress here, apart from us?”

“It seems like it. Considering he knows about things I haven’t reported.”

“Could there really be a spy?”

“If not, Prince Tesla wouldn’t have sent such a warning.”

‘From now on, I hope we respect each other’s boundaries.’

The Duke of Martins murmured, recalling the words Prince Tesla had asked to relay to Empress Zelda.

“Who could it be? Tesla Prince’s loyal bastard that even I don’t know about……”

Right here, inside the Laphion Royal Palace.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most

One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.

This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:

1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.

It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.

(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)

2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.

The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.

3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.

Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).

Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.

Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.

4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).

5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!

You’re bound to regret it if you skip this novel. Read the review & spoiler to find out what you might be missing!
