“I am the Empress who deceived as Bonis.”

“What? No. What… did you say?”

“I’m sorry for deceiving you.”

“How can this happen? You, Bonis?”

Commander Markrom scratched his head with a puzzled look.

“Are you still unaware that I practice swordsmanship, Your Majesty? So, in the warehouse, I had no choice but to pretend not to know.”

“Ha, how did this happen! Really…?”

“Your Majesty, I apologize for deceiving you, thinking that Her Majesty the Empress was having an affair with her bodyguard and even prayed for a cursed life!”

“At that time, it was quite moving. Thank you for thinking of me.”

I laughed silently and quickly said to Commander Markrom.
“Ah, no, it’s nothing. By the way, why are you hiding your swordsmanship skills?”

“Well…”

“Well, Her Majesty must be surprised. Are you disappointed too?”

Commander Markrom asked, breaking into laughter.

It seemed like he knew something.

“Her Majesty thinks of me as delicate, right?”

“Don’t say that. Her Majesty the Empress always says she’s worried that I might collapse or break when she sees only me.”

“Really?”

“Yes, although she expressed her concern, she seemed to secretly enjoy such a sight. She wanted to protect me.”

Having learned about my true identity, Commander Markrom continued to smile, recalling Lionel’s words.

I didn’t expect it to be to this extent.

Indeed, Lionel prefers an elegant and feminine image.

“Her Majesty once said that if it were possible, she would like to carry me around in her pocket.”

“Oh, our Empress’s condition seems more serious than I thought.”

Commander Markrom shook his head with a sigh.

“So, about that… I want to let you enjoy your role as a caring wife a bit more.”

Commander Markrom readily accepted my opinion.

“Well, it’s not a difficult task, and for the sake of both of you, I’ll keep Her Majesty the Empress’s secret for a while.”

Commander Markrom said that he was already looking forward to Lionel’s surprise when he learns about this later.

“Thank you. Although you became my bodyguard, you’ll probably find it more comfortable than anyone else.”

“It’s an excellent position, an honor, Your Majesty the Empress!”

“Yes, I’ll make sure of that.”

I confidently asserted.

“And now, please lower your voice.”

“Ah… right, understood.”

“But, was the name Bonis just something you made up back then?”

Commander Markrom chuckled and asked.

“No, it was the name of a beloved companion I lived with like a sibling in the Shatonil Kingdom.”

“Ah, I see.”

I felt relieved that Commander Markrom couldn’t see my gloomy expression.

After resolving the issue of my bodyguard with Lionel in the lounge, we entered the banquet hall with Commander Markrom.

I marveled inwardly at the grandeur of emperors and empresses from all continents, along with their consorts and officials, flaunting their splendor.

More dazzling than chandeliers.

Despite smiling brightly and engaging in conversations, an indescribable tension could be felt.

It seemed like everyone was hiding a dagger in their hearts.

Lionel and I ascended to the raised platform and took seats in the chairs arranged in front of the table.

Below the two steps, four consorts were seated, and to the sides, people from the northern and southern continents sat across from each other at the tables.

With the start of the banquet, dinner began.

As the meal was nearing its end, Emperor Adrian of the Tevelo Empire rose from his seat, waving his long silver hair, drawing everyone’s attention.
“Your Majesty, the Empress of the Laphion Empire, may I present a performance that suits this banquet? Would you grant me permission?”

Voices of anticipation echoed from various places at Emperor Adrian’s proposal.

“Emperor Adrian, may I inquire about the nature of the performance first?”

Lionel asked, lifting the wine glass in front of him.

“It’s a performance regularly presented by the imperial consorts at the Tevelo Palace.”

A performance by the imperial consorts?

“Would it be a beautiful yet melancholic dance?”

Adrian’s words fueled my curiosity even more.

“Oh, are you referring to the performance where the consorts showcase martial arts along with dance?”

Prince Kalbain of the Partsha Empire interjected.

Upon which, Emperor Adrian nodded proudly.

“Oh, to see that performance again!”

Prince Kalbain 2 exclaimed with excitement, his voice filled with enthusiasm.

“Prince Kalbain, have you had the chance to witness the Tevelo Palace consorts’ performance before?”

Lionel turned his gaze to Prince Kalbain, asking.

“Yes, when I visited the Tevelo Palace a few years ago, I was fortunate enough to enjoy the consorts’ performance. To think I could see that performance again. Hahaha.”

“It must have been a good performance. Quite passionate, I presume?”

Empress Catria of the Deloy Empire joined the conversation.

“It’s absolutely enchanting! Sun of Laphion, please accept the sincerity Emperor Adrian has prepared.”

Prince Kalbain spoke with an expectant face.

I looked at Prince Norton, who was sitting next to Prince Kalbain.

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband

This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.

They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.

In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.

When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.

She makes his life a living hell.

And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.

Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!

Intro

Dong Xia lost her memory.

Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”

Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.

…

The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.

She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.

Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.

No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!

Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂

*

Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.

The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.

In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.

And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

Notes:

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.

2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
