His smile slowly turned into a deadly glare as he spoke.

“Did I hear you wrong?”

“Judging by your expression, you heard me correctly.”

“Then it seems you, Princess, are the one who’s mistaken.”

“I won’t deny that.”

“So, just because you used an illusion spell, you feel free to say anything? How dare you.”

He wanted nothing more than to erase Roxana right then and there—but she wasn’t even truly present in this space.

“Has the Grand Magister also gotten involved in this matter?”

Roxana didn’t deny it; she merely lifted the corner of her lips slightly before letting it fall again.

Rinel asked no further questions. That smile alone was answer enough.

“What on earth could he possibly want with her…?”

Roxana looked at Rinel’s puzzled expression but refrained from telling him that Bellos considered Zelda his life partner.

That would only provoke Rinel.
