I came home early for once after finishing filming, and found Yeoreum asleep in Taeseok’s living room. Taeseok approached her with a smile, still fully dressed.

“Bunny.”

He gently tickled her ear with a low voice. Was this happiness really real?

“Choi Bunny.”

When she didn’t wake up even after he softly called her name, he whispered again, nearly pressing his lips against her ear this time. Yeoreum gave a slight shiver, then slowly opened her eyes.

“When did you get here?”

“Just now.”

Taeseok kept teasing her ear as he spoke. Yeoreum gazed at him with dreamy eyes, and Taeseok thought she seemed unsure whether this moment was real or part of a dream.

“It feels like a dream.”

As Taeseok had expected, Yeoreum said exactly that.

“Maybe I’ve been stuck in a long dream—like those comatose states you see in dramas, where someone drifts through years of dreams as if traveling.”

Taeseok chuckled.

“It’s not a dream. It’s reality—happier than any dream.”

“Oh.”

Yeoreum nodded. They stayed quiet for a while.
