She spoke as if it was obvious. For the granddaughter of the FL Group, which held sway over the Korean economy, this was child’s play.

“I found out other things too. One interesting fact. You dated writer Choi Summer two years ago, right?”

Taeseok turned to walk away, but then turned back to face her.

That fact was better left unknown. For Summer’s sake, not his.

Being an actor like Seo Taeseok and having a past relationship wasn’t a big deal, but for a newly debuted writer like Summer, it was different.

The media and public would hassle her. They might even be relentless enough to distract her from her work. Summer, lacking scandal immunity, would crumble easily.

“That never happened.”

“Liar.”

“It’s true. And even if it did, it’s irrelevant now.”

As the conversation dragged on, Taeseok became concerned about Summer inside. He nonchalantly removed the clinging woman from his arm and turned away.

“Don’t come back.”

Even the temptation of a younger, more sensual, and sexier woman didn’t sway him. He had to laugh at himself for being so calm now when he had been so agitated over Summer’s two unbuttoned blouse buttons.

‘Hopeless guy.’

Summer suddenly woke up to a familiar scent.

Her head and stomach ached. She remembered drinking makgeolli at the end. Her stomach was churning from mixing different types of alcohol.

She tried to collect her thoughts.

A huge, expensive bed. A familiar scent of perfume. A faintly felt soft touch.

‘This isn’t my bed.’

The neatly arranged room without unnecessary furniture was familiar. She looked around. White marble floor, one wall filled with Seo Taeseok’s photos.

It was Seo Taeseok’s house.

What?

Seo Taeseok’s house!

‘This is crazy!’

Thud.

Startled, Summer tried to get up quickly but fell to the floor. Her knee felt as if it was bruised. The pain assured her it wasn’t a dream.

‘What’s going on?’

Too flustered to think straight, her memory blanked out somewhere in the bar.

‘Wow. I’ve really done it now.’

Rubbing her knee, she got up.

‘Why on earth did I come to his house? And to be sleeping in his room…’

She couldn’t remember anything. She needed to leave.

She quickly tied her disheveled hair, grabbed her bag, and quietly opened the bedroom door. Glancing at the clock, it was nearly midnight.
Fortunately, there was no one in sight as she passed through the living room, kitchen, and corridor. If she could just make it to the hallway, there was a good chance she could quietly open the front door and leave. Holding onto this sliver of hope, she tiptoed towards the entrance when she heard a faint voice.

‘A woman…?’

She couldn’t make out what was being said, but Taeseok was talking to a woman near the front door. A young woman.

‘Hong Minwoo, you idiot.’

Summer cursed Hong Manager under her breath, pressing her body against the wall and lowering her breath.

‘Does Seo Taeseok lack women? Can’t he meet someone? Ridiculous. The senior must be the only one who doesn’t know.’

She knew better than anyone that not just anyone could enter this apartment.

This building wasn’t the kind where someone unrelated to Taeseok could simply show up at the front door. This woman, whoever she was, must have some relationship with Taeseok.

Even if they weren’t dating, perhaps they were intimate in some other way.

‘What should I do? Have I caused trouble?’

If the woman had an appointment and Summer’s sudden appearance made things awkward, it would be a huge blunder. Torn, Summer decided to confront the situation head-on.

She made noise on purpose as she approached the front door. Taeseok glanced over carelessly.

“Mr. Seo Taeseok, I apologize for the intrusion.”

“……When did you wake up?”

“I’ll contact you once the script revisions are sorted. Since our business is done, I’ll be leaving now.”

Summer spoke deliberately loud, feigning calmness. But Taeseok had no intention of playing along with her absurd act.

“Where are you going, waking up halfway?”

Taeseok grabbed her arm. The front door opened and the eyes of two women met. Summer whispered.

“Let go. I’ll leave naturally.”

Summer quickly pulled her arm away and tried to put on her shoes. Taeseok grabbed her again.

“You’re still not sober. Sleep it off.”

The woman outside widened her eyes.

“Oh. It’s writer Choi Summer. Are you two friends again? Or is it work?”

“I’ll be leaving now.”

Summer shook off the hand holding her and escaped to the elevator, collapsing onto her knees, her legs giving out from relief.

‘What happened? Where’s Senior Minwoo? How did I end up in that house?’

She rummaged for her phone, but it was turned off. It was the worst day.

After sending off the reckless woman, Taeseok called Summer. Her phone was off.

‘She seems to be misunderstanding something.’

Anxious, he paced the living room. He wanted to rush to her, but then realized he didn’t even know where Choi Summer lived.

There was nothing else he could do.

The chilling realization that he couldn’t find her once her phone was off struck him. He stopped in his tracks, struck by a frightening thought.

After vowing to cut her out, everywhere in his house reminded him of Choi Summer.

“This feeling, it’s…”

It was love.

In the end, that was it.

Taeseok laughed at himself, a mix of amusement and pathos. Remembering the humiliation she gave him two years ago, yet unable to control this trembling heart, foolishly falling back in love.

Alright. Accept it.

I still love you, and I’ve deeply buried the past wrongs. You must have needed money, had your reasons to run away.

So, let’s start over.

That was his conclusion. He missed her.

Cold Male Lead Became My Clingy Husband (Female-Dominant)

Feng Bai Su transmigrated into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sister of the female protagonist and the Seventh Princess of the Feng Ling Kingdom.

After working herself to death in her previous life, finally reincarnating as a princess, she only wanted to be a lazy fish who could eat, sleep, and play.

Until she met the male protagonist from the book, Wei Jing Mo, and he took a liking to her!

Wei Jing Mo is the top young man in Feng Ling City, talented in both appearance and ability, from a prestigious family, with a cold and otherworldly appearance, a figure like the bright moon in the hearts of noble ladies. It was thought that only the most powerful and talented noble lady in Feng Ling City would be worthy of such a brilliant young man. Who knew that this young gentleman would secretly admire the infamous Seventh Princess?

Short scene 1:

Feng Bai Su looked at the young man crying like a pear blossom in the rain before her, and couldn’t help but doubt her life.

Wasn’t the male lead described as a cold and otherworldly figure in the book?

Then who was this poor little thing crying with swollen red eyes and tear-stained face?

Short scene 2:

Wei Jing Mo stared intently at Feng Bai Su who was about to go out, wanting to say, “Be careful on the road.”

Before he could speak, Feng Bai Su suddenly bent down and bit his cheek.

Her peach blossom eyes were full of disdain: “Tsk! You’re so clingy!”

Wei Jing Mo: “…”

A talented fox spirit female lead with a flirtatious appearance but actually abstinent VS A cold-looking but actually naive and clingy little jealous male lead
