The slightly parted lips of the indolent two closed weakly. Taeseok delved deeply, suppressing the impulse to chew and eat her inner flesh, softly and persistently exploring her.

The air in the car became stiflingly heavy. Harsh and intense heat enveloped the two. Taeseok felt the strength draining from Summer’s body. Soon, a faint moan escaped.

“Ha… O-Oppa, stop now.”

The longing gaze, moist lips, flushed cheeks—they all conveyed the message to stop.

Taeseok was so overwhelmed that he couldn’t even laugh.

“I’d rather put candy in your mouth than melt it with my kiss.”

Now, she finally understood. It wasn’t a rabbit or a fox; it was a gumiho. There was no other way to explain it. She willingly succumbed.

Summer pulled away from him.

“Say it’s a goodbye! What kind of goodbye is this, going on your own whim?”

Taeseok laughed softly, straightening Summer’s lips while organizing them.

“I don’t know. Reason flies away.”

“You don’t know moderation. Why.”
Summer continued to express dissatisfaction, but whether she did or not.

Taeseok, looking at her small, flower-like lips murmuring something, said, “I’m really dying of longing….”

How can you spend two months like this at home?

The meeting between the families took place in a harmonious atmosphere. The parents praised each other’s well-raised children and spoke of the honor of gaining a daughter and a son.

To some extent, it was sincere. There were expectations for each child due to the unraised gender because they were each raised as the only child out of wedlock.

“My son is healthy but stubborn like an ox. I worry if our precious daughter will suffer after marrying him. If my son acts up, I’ll teach him a lesson.”

“Why would you say that? Where can you find a perfect son-in-law like our prospective son-in-law? He’s polished, affectionate, and, let me tell you, the best actor who speaks so painfully. We don’t have such a talented person in our house. Our daughter, on the other hand, worries us because she doesn’t know how to raise a child.”

“Do you not know how to raise a child? You are an accomplished drama writer. If you’re talking about household chores, don’t worry. Seo Taeseok is wealthy. There are professionals to help. And, to be honest, I’m not good at household chores either.”

The two moms were surprisingly in sync, so much so that it was hard to believe they had just met. It turned out they were the same age. They exchanged phone numbers and suggested not treating each other difficultly but rather being friends.

“Now, please enjoy your meal. Let’s talk after eating.”

The meal began at a high-end traditional Korean restaurant. Summer hadn’t eaten much for days. Her stomach had been dirty and nauseous for days.

Ever since she got gastritis a few days ago, she had been in this condition. Especially with meat. She sat as far away as possible from the smell of grilled short ribs, which would undoubtedly melt softly in her mouth.

She only ate a little salad and vegetables. Taeseok worriedly watched Summer like that.

“I heard you held the wedding introduction for a long time. It’s an honor to meet a wonderful son-in-law.”

“I am honored. To have served as the president of Seohan University, I guess the wisdom of Seo’s husband resembles his father’s.”

The quietest were Summer and Taeseok, but the parents didn’t pay much attention and got friendly with each other.

After that day, Summer’s wedding preparations became much smoother. Due to her poor decision-making in choosing things, the two moms took charge and said they would take care of everything.

“You, with your upcoming work plans and busyness, Mom will take care of what you need.”

She agreed. Since her mom had a much better eye for things like home appliances and furniture, Summer completely trusted her.

Seoul and Cheonan. Despite being more than an hour apart and both working, the two somehow managed to find time to shop consistently. Items like dishes, refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines.

Especially for blankets, it seemed like they were determined to visit every department store in downtown Seoul. It was just amusing. It seemed like they were thinking of it as a bit of a doll play.
The refrigerator and washing machine were already in Taeseok’s house, so Summer wondered why they needed to buy them again. However, seeing the two enjoying themselves, Summer didn’t voice any objections.

So, she could just enjoy playing princess prettily and happily.

The glamorous glass door of the famous luxury dress shop, , rang and opened with a sound. The gazes of the waiting staff all turned towards the entrance. Everyone’s faces were faintly familiar.

When they saw Taeseok escorting a woman gently, several employees blocked their mouths in amazement.

“Oh my, it’s really Seo Taeseok.”

“He’s like a real gangster. What’s that? I’m shocked.”

Designer Director Kim gestured to stop them slightly and stepped forward to greet.

“Welcome.”

Thinking that Taeseok would be calm since he had experience seeing numerous celebrities, his aura was indeed different. Smiling, Summer thought it felt like this was how Taeseok should be, acting like Taeseok.

“We’ve prepared in advance. Please come this way.”

Nodding, Taeseok embraced Summer around the waist.

“We’ve prepared in the top-tier line. You’ll like it. Writer Choi Yeorum, you’re so beautiful.”

Kim Director said, looking at the small woman next to Taeseok. She was the rumored fiancée of Seo Taeseok.

A petite, fair-skinned girl with gentle eyes. Her twinkling eyes and cheeks reached the pinnacle of loveliness. She was a woman who, leaving behind the frustration of many girls who liked Seo Taeseok, had embraced happiness.

Love dropped like dewdrops from Taeseok’s eyes as he looked at the woman. It was amazing that a woman wouldn’t melt away when looked at with such eyes.

“Writer-nim, I’ve prepared a few outfits according to the size you sent in advance. Let me show you.”

Gorgeous dresses appeared one after another. The employees were all stunned, unable to say anything.

“Since the bride has a good proportion, the mermaid line will suit you beautifully. This dress, adorned with sparkling beads, is splendid.”

Summer’s face suddenly reddened. The title ‘bride’ felt somewhat unfamiliar and awkward. On the other hand, Taeseok really liked that title.

“Great. Let’s try it on.”

Male lead Asks for a Divorce Every Day

It’s not often you come across a plot like this in the female-dominant genre — make sure to check it out!

This is a novel I’m planning to reread as well.

The male lead is strong, skilled in martial arts, and not the usual fragile type you often see in matriarchal novels.

Meanwhile, the female lead is a scientist—rational and logical. Even when she falls for the male lead, she doesn’t let her emotions cloud her decisions.

If you push through the first few chapters, you’ll gradually find the story really intriguing.

It has a mix of mystery, detective elements, and romance.

The author’s writing style is like crafting a puzzle—except they deliberately leave out a few pieces, making it hard to predict what happens next, yet keeping you hooked.

In the end, everything will come together and be explained.

One-sentence summary: Wife, stop playing with beakers and look at me!

In a laboratory accident, research scientist Zhu Wansheng accidentally travels to a matriarchal world. The original owner of the body is an eighteen-year-old only daughter of a wealthy rouge merchant, already married with a handsome young man.

Zhu Wansheng grins: Nice! She always said she was heaven’s favorite granddaughter. After a life of toil in her previous life, she can enjoy blessings in this one.

However, her joy lasts no more than three seconds as bad news arrives: the original owner’s family is about to go bankrupt, and her husband wants a divorce.

Even worse, she’s stuck with a research system full of restrictions.

Zhu Wansheng: ? Is this the destiny of a research dog?

——

Faced with this mess, Zhu Wansheng pours herself a bowl of wine to drown her sorrows. In her drunken haze, her husband arrives.

His figure is imposing, holding a long sword, with a dignified air that captivates Zhu Wansheng.

Gu Yingqing, however, looks at the alcohol-reeking Zhu Wansheng with undisguised disgust and coldly asks, “Divorce or not?” The intoxicated Zhu Wansheng mumbles vaguely, “I think… it’s not… it’s not… impossible!”

——

The next day, after sobering up, Zhu Wansheng is full of energy, rolling up her sleeves ready to make a big move. As for yesterday? She has no memory of it.

Zhu Wansheng is ambitious; a research dog fears nothing!

Upgrading rouge, extracting fragrances, producing perfumes, researching lipsticks… all shall bow to the power of modern technology!

The original owner’s dying rouge shop is revitalized. Her mother is pleased and with a wave of her hand, passes on the family business to her. As she takes control and her experimental results gain popularity, it’s the pinnacle of her life…

——

But there are always those who can’t stand to see her doing well. Jealousy, scheming, assassination attempts – they want nothing less than her life.

The person who has always kept his distance from her suddenly holds her tightly in his arms, eyes full of concern.

She is unharmed, but he falls into a pool of blood…

Zhu Wansheng feels guilty, “I can grant you one wish.”

Gu Yingqing tentatively circles his arms around her, carefully resting his head in the crook of her neck, pleading softly, “I regret it. Can we not divorce?”

Zhu Wansheng: ? When did I agree to a divorce?

[Small Theater]

The newly developed rouge is beautifully packaged, and Zhu Wansheng is eager to try it.

Gu Yingqing suddenly appears: “My lady, may I apply it for you?”

Cool fingertips lightly brush her lips. His Adam’s apple bobs as he leans in for a light bite.

Zhu Wansheng: ?

Gu Yingqing: It smells so good, I wanted to taste it…

On a warm spring day, Zhu Wansheng tries a new perfume: “Spring Night.” Gu Yingqing corners her against a wall.

Warm breath lingers on her neck.

“My lady, from now on, may I test the fragrances for you?”
