The Savior Who Bites My Neck (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 37
Schuler and Glen arrived at the Prince’s Palace early in the morning.
“You should have rested properly; I only trouble you out of regret. But I felt you must know…”
“It doesn’t matter.”
Sinclair rose from the bed with a brief reply. But whether due to the medicine or not, the pain had not subsided—he let out a low groan.
Elaina watched him in silence, then cautiously reached out her hand.
She helped him sit up against the headboard. Sinclair seemed unpleased even by this, yet he did not forcefully push away Elaina’s hand—perhaps because Schuler and Glen were watching.
“But why do you look like that?”
Sinclair asked, looking at Schuler and Glen.
It was no wonder: their appearance was utterly disheveled. Schuler’s face was worn with exhaustion, and bloodstains marred his neck and shoulders, as if he hadn’t washed them clean.
Meanwhile, Glen looked as though he had rolled through mud and dirt everywhere. His white garments were completely splattered with grime—no exaggeration.
“First, just before yesterday’s ceremony, I went with Lord Glen into the underground waterway of the temple. Lord Glen heard someone screaming.”
Slowly, Schuler spoke.
“And there, we found these.”
He carefully extended something covered in dried blood.
A crude ploy. Drugging a lion to dull its senses, then familiarizing it with the scent of the garment’s owner before unleashing it.

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
