“What suddenly happened?”

Velia asked in a cheerful voice.

It had diverged slightly from the plan, but she was fairly pleased with how the tea party had wrapped up.

Facing her, Prince Khaled replied with a shameless expression.

“Missed you?”

What was that?

Velia let out a deflated chuckle.

“Don’t joke. What really happened?”

She had planned to rise from her seat after observing the situation.

She was contemplating various excuses to make her exit when Prince Khaled appeared, allowing her to leave naturally. So, Velia didn’t mind his sudden actions.

But she was curious. Why had he shown up so suddenly?

Velia hastened his response with her gaze.

“It seemed like it would end soon, so…”

And?

Prince Khaled smiled brightly.

“I thought the princess would be quite angered if I took you away from there.”

Velia found his reason agreeable and chuckled along.

Actually, she had felt immense satisfaction seeing Princess Kanterif’s expression sour.

‘Really… We really do get along in strange ways.’

Thinking so, Velia grumbled at him with a playful voice.

“You could have warned me. I was really surprised.”

Then, Prince Khaled laughed heartily.

“Come here.”

He patted the seat next to him.

Velia looked at Prince Khaled with a meaningful gaze.

What is he planning?

“Isn’t it better if we face each other?”

But Prince Khaled, smiling, gripped Velia’s arm and pulled her toward him.

Velia’s body landed into Prince Khaled’s arms in an instant.

“No. I prefer holding you like this.”

Saying so, Prince Khaled held Velia tightly as she panicked.

He then bit her exposed neck lightly.

“Ah!”

Have you gone mad?

Startled, Velia quickly covered her mouth.

“What are you doing!”

Velia raised her hand and slapped Prince Khaled’s shoulder.

“What is this? Really!”

“Sweet.”

Prince Khaled buried his face in Velia’s neck again and deeply inhaled her scent.

Velia was lost for words.

“…You’re so sweet, sometimes I want to consume you whole.”

Velia gently tapped on Prince Khaled’s shoulder.

It was a signal for him to back off.

However, Prince Khaled didn’t loosen his grip on her.

“You’ve been neglecting me lately.”

His voice was full of complaint.

But because he didn’t lift his face from Velia’s neck, it sounded like a mumble.

Almost like a child’s whine.

“Prince Khaled.”

No response came.

Recently, their conversations had mostly been about work.

“We have much to do.”

But time was too tight to take it leisurely.

“…”

“Really, Prince Khaled?”

His grip on Velia weakened slightly.

Taking advantage of the moment, Velia escaped from his embrace. Yet she was still sitting on his lap.

He strengthened his grip on Velia again, not letting her go completely.

“What’s lacking?”

“You are.”

Velia almost burst out laughing at that response.

But she clenched her lips to hold it in.

“What should I do to fill that gap?”

Prince Khaled’s fingers fidgeted around Velia’s waist in response to her question.

Velia slapped his hand away.

“Not that.”

Again, Prince Khaled remained silent.

His downcast eyes were increasingly becoming a concern for Velia.

“What happened?”

“Just.”

Since he didn’t deny it, something had definitely happened.

A sudden thought flashed across Velia’s mind.

“Did you meet Raul?”
So when I thought he had run this way in a bad mood, somehow his attitude made sense.

My guess must have been correct as Khaled’s face grew increasingly sullen.

“……That guy has no intention of giving you up. He asked me how long you’ll be with me.”

Before I knew that I was Raul’s lover, I would have dismissed Raul’s taunt easily, but not this time.

Velia kept mulling over Raul’s words, pitying him for hurting himself.

Velia let out a deep sigh and reached out to grab both of Khaled’s cheeks.

“I really, really dislike Raul. You can’t know how creepy it is that he’s into me.”

Velia firmly pressed Khaled’s cheeks twice.

Then she lightly kissed the lips that were pushed forward from pressing his cheeks, and glared at him.

“Want more?”

Khaled’s pupils shook.

Velia’s lips came close enough to touch Khaled’s.

“If you keep pushing me like this, I’ll have to scold you, Khaled.”

Khaled was becoming hazy.

“……If this is scolding, then I should stir up trouble every day.”

“This is not a joke.”

Her voice was low and cold.

“I get it that you’re concerned about Raul. But.”

Velia halfopened her eyelids and met his gaze.

Slowly and quietly moving her long eyelashes, something itched at a corner of Khaled’s heart.

Velia didn’t take her eyes off him as she lightly kissed him again, then softly gripped his shoulders and continued speaking.

“Haven’t you told me directly that you won’t force your feelings on me?”

He also met her gaze without evasion. A shimmer swirled in the blue pupils.

“People’s hearts always change, you said.”

“So your heart has changed?”

“Yes.”

Khaled lifted the arm that had been around Velia’s back, took one hand to her slender neck, and kissed her deeply as if to swallow all her breath.

After a long kiss, Khaled pulled back his lips and spoke in a cracking voice.

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband

This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.

They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.

In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.

When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.

She makes his life a living hell.

And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.

Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!

Intro

Dong Xia lost her memory.

Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”

Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.

…

The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.

She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.

Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.

No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!

Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂

*

Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.

The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.

In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.

And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

Notes:

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.

2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
