A leisurely afternoon.

In the past, Velia used to spend time with Raul around this time.

She had promptly accepted his proposal, and talks of engagement proceeded rapidly. It was as if the whole world was filled with Raul.

He was an infinitely kind and cool person, like a prince from a fairy tale.

Even when staying in the Kingdom of Ronica, he made time every day to meet her amidst his busy schedule, and even after returning to the empire, he consistently sent affectionate messages.

Several times, unable to bear missing Velia, he had even visited the Kingdom of Ronica.

‘When we arrived at the empire….’

The moment she stepped out of the carriage, he rushed to embrace and kiss her in front of everyone. Raul’s gaze at Velia, as if he was so in love he didn’t know what to do, was always warm.

She realized only after becoming the empress that all of this was mere lip service and acted affection.

So, Velia, who had returned to the past, had no desire whatsoever to encounter Raul in this precious time. It was a nuisance to her that he kept showing up uninvited.

“Sis. Are you going to keep daydreaming?”

“Huh? Ah, sorry.”

“Hmm… suspicious.”

Cloze’s eyes widened into triangles as she pouted.

Velia naturally sipped her tea and asked with a smile.

“What’s suspicious?”

“Do you possibly have some kind of problem you can’t talk about?”

Did it show that much?!

She was quite surprised internally, but she looked at Cloze pretending to be nonchalant.

“What are you talking about?”

“You can’t fool me, Cloze!”

Cloze picked up a cookie and burst into laughter.

“I know all about you and Ben talking privately these days!”

How on earth does she know?!

Velia quietly crossexamined Cloze.

“…How did you know that?”

“Well!”

She couldn’t say she had been spying.

Cloze hastily closed her mouth.

Velia, with a knowing expression, smiled and asked again.

“You didn’t talk to anyone else with all that unnecessary chatter, did you?”

“Hey, what do you take me for! Of course, I kept my mouth shut!”

Cloze grinned and covered her mouth with her hand.

“Haa…”

By the way, why is there no reaction at all from the second prince?

The recent frequent meetings with Ben were to check if there was any reaction from him.

It has been over a week since she sent the letter. But there was no reaction whatsoever.

‘…Did he just throw it away without even reading it? Do I need to find another way?’

Velia rested her elbow on the table and propped her face in her hand.

Her cheeks were squished, making her face plump, but that wasn’t important.

“Hmm. It’s really suspicious. My keen sense tells me! This is definitely related to a guy!”

Cloze giggled and exclaimed.

Velia was startled internally and stared at her sister with wide eyes.

Who on earth did she take after, to be so extraordinary and quickwitted?

Seeing Velia’s reaction, Cloze squinted her eyes and asked.

“Sis. You’re not considering marrying the first prince, are you?”

…I take back what I said earlier.

Velia flatly stated once again.

“What are you talking about! I’m never going to marry Prince Raul.”

“Then what.”

Cloze was irritated, kicking her feet on the chair, seemingly embarrassed by her misjudged speculation.

“Cloze. You once said that Prince Khaled is much better than Prince Raul, right?”

At Velia’s unexpected question, Cloze opened her eyes wide and giggled.

She then leaned closer to the table and asked.

“Why? Have you developed an interest in the second prince?”

“…No. What am I saying to you right now.”

Velia exhaled with her hand on her forehead.

Cloze, who quickly caught on to Velia’s evasive attitude, pestered her once more.

“Come on! Sis!”

Seeing her sister, whose eyes were sparkling as if she had found something interesting, Velia casually spoke.

“Just… We talked about the second prince the other day. So, I just got curious…”

“Really?!”
Clozhe abruptly stood up from her seat, causing it to topple backward. She was indifferent to it.

There was an issue far more significant than a mere fallen chair right before her. There was no capacity to focus elsewhere.

“Since when?!”

Her sister, who had always been indifferent to her surroundings.

It was the first time such a sister had confessed her curiosity about someone.

Clozhe asked, her eyes wide open with joy at this fact.

And above all,

‘Where does it say she shows no interest in the First Prince.’

Clozhe had seen it.

The strange smile that Raul had on his face as he stood, back to Velia.

It was not the look of someone in love. Despite claiming to have fallen for her at first sight.

But her sister, who lacked experience with people, thought everything was sincere if he smiled and professed his love before her eyes.

Despite wanting to be satisfied as long as her sister was happy, that strange expression of Prince Raul continued to bother her.

Clozhe quietly righted the fallen chair and straightened herself.

“I’m ready to listen. Tell me everything, sister.”

Velia, for some reason, responded to Clozhe’s mature attitude with an involuntary smile.

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband

This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.

They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.

In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.

When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.

She makes his life a living hell.

And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.

Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!

Intro

Dong Xia lost her memory.

Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”

Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.

…

The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.

She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.

Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.

No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!

Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂

*

Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.

The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.

In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.

And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

Notes:

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.

2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
