A low voice rumbled nearby. When she felt someone stroking her cheek and reached out her hand, a large hand gently enveloped hers.

“Oh.”

A familiar perfume scent lingered at the tip of her nose. Lifting her heavy eyelids, Tae Jo’s face came into blurry focus.

“When… What time is it now…?”

Still half-asleep, Se Kyung rubbed her drowsy eyes. Tae Jo glanced at his wristwatch and lightly tapped her cheek.

“Six o’clock. If you’re still sleepy, go back to sleep.”

“No, it’s fine. I’ve slept a lot already—if I sleep more now, I won’t be able to sleep tonight.”

Se Kyung replied, her eyes still half-closed. After moistening her dry lips, she remembered the voice she’d just heard and asked Tae Jo,

“Did someone come here earlier? I thought I heard another person’s voice.”

“Woo Hyun and Seok Joo came too.”

“Really?”

Se Kyung lifted her head and looked where Tae Jo was nodding toward. Seok Joo, seated on the sofa, waved at her.

“You okay?”

“Yes. How did all three of you end up coming together?”

“They were both worried about you. Seok Joo didn’t have anything urgent today, so he came by the office.”
