The Price of Impulse (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 62
“It wasn’t me.”
Back in the examination room after her check-up, Director Shim said. Se Kyung tilted her head, puzzled by the sudden, unexpected remark.
“About the ring. I’m saying I didn’t post that article.”
Director Shim gestured toward the ring on Se Kyung’s finger. Understanding dawned on Se Kyung a moment later, and she let out a small laugh.
“I don’t suspect you.”
“Good to hear. Anyway, you’ve got to give it to our people—they’ve got sharp eyes. How did they even notice that?”
“Right? If I hadn’t heard it from you, Director Shim, I’d have thought someone just made it up.”
She knew her on-screen style had become popular since the drama started airing. Still, she hadn’t expected people to take interest even in the accessories she wore on personal variety shows.
And to think it was a couple’s ring—President Jin hadn’t said a word about that.
“But it’s still pretty quiet, isn’t it? I thought there’d be rumors once people found out it’s a matching ring.”
“Apparently, your agency’s been getting some inquiries.”
“Like, ‘Is Yoon Se Kyung dating someone?’”
Se Kyung nodded, fiddling with her ring. Right before coming to the hospital, Director Song had already called to warn her that rumors were spreading about her ring being a couple’s ring.
“Are you going to announce your wedding soon?”
“I’m still thinking it over. I plan to hold the ceremony later.”

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
