The Price is Everything of Yours (76 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 93
Ellen left so mother and daughter could fully enjoy their reunion.
Neris and her mother first went to the room where her mother was staying. They embraced each other tightly and spent a long while catching up.
Her mother, who had initially been brought to Maindlant as if kidnapped, had apparently caused quite a ruckus. Knowing how utterly unreasonable her mother could sometimes be, Neris nearly broke into a cold sweat.
The knights of Maindlant who had brought her mother must have heard every insult imaginable—bandits, kidnappers, and worse.
Yet after continuing to receive kind treatment here and several reassuring letters written unmistakably in her daughter’s handwriting, she had begun adapting energetically.
Neris felt conflicted. She was overjoyed and moved to see with her own eyes that her mother was truly alive and well, yet at the same time, an irrational doubt nagged her—what if this were still just a dream?
But the warmth from her mother’s hands and the familiar scent that enveloped her when she hugged her quickly banished all doubt, flooding her instead with pure happiness.
“My daughter, studying and graduating from that difficult academy—of course! A clever girl like you would have been wasted without formal education.”
Even as she said this, her mother’s expression still betrayed some lingering skepticism. Understandable, really.
Neris didn’t know how much Cledwin had told her. But if it had been him, he probably hadn’t said anything at all.
He must have known full well that only Neris herself could convince her mother.
“But dear, won’t you show your face to Mama?”
At last, after their long conversation, that question finally came.
Slowly, Neris removed her veil. Her mother’s face, previously blurred behind the dark, coarse silk, now appeared much clearer—as if suddenly brought close.
Her mother’s eyes, fixed on her daughter’s, widened in shock.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!

The male lead being so proud of his wife is honestly adorable, even when he gets jealous.
And the female lead is so elegant and beautiful—I can’t wait to see this scene illustrated
Haha, did the ML really just say that to the FL? He’s so cute when he gets a little jealous.
Can’t wait for next chapter
The ML is so considerate of his wife. He treats her with so much care and gentleness, even when she doesn’t say a word—he just understands her. He’s honestly so perfect, I can’t 😭
I really hope the FL can overcome these painful feelings soon. I can’t bear to watch her suffer this much. 💔
