The Price is Everything of Yours (76 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 20
Mahradi sputtered in anger.
Arthur Pendland slowly clapped his hands. His rhythmic applause, matching the slow beat of an unseen melody, gradually spread throughout the entire classroom. Soon, Arthur began chanting Neris’s surname as if singing.
“Trude! Trude!”
“Trude! Trude!”
The other students followed suit with solemn seriousness. Neris’s cheeks flushed slightly.
This was the first time she had ever been the subject of such favorable acclaim. When she had served House Elantria, her duties had mostly involved covert actions she couldn’t speak of openly; and during her frontline diplomatic work, her status as Crown Princess had prevented her peers from treating her casually.
Once the cheering subsided somewhat, Sir Voltaire raised his baton. Speaking with an air of indifference, as though he hadn’t heard the commotion at all, he declared,
“Mahradi Ennim, Neris Trude. As punishment for using inappropriate language at school, come to the classroom after dinner tonight.”
“Teacher.”
Arthur raised his hand and spoke.
“That’s unfair. Mahradi provoked the conflict first.”
Mahradi, who had previously maintained a decent relationship with Arthur, felt betrayed by his words. Sir Voltaire shot Arthur a sharp glance.
“In diplomacy, it matters who started the dispute—but it also matters how one responds. When the other side breaks the rules, we gain legitimacy by acting within them. Remember always: their violation does not justify your own.”
Len also wore a dissatisfied expression. He had wanted to raise his hand in protest as well, unhappy with Sir Voltaire’s handling of the situation, but Arthur had beaten him to it. Yet Neris herself appeared entirely unperturbed.
In one sense, Sir Voltaire’s words were correct—but in another, they were not. Legitimacy only became a weapon when both sides held comparable power.

My Ex-Girlfriend Is The Regent In The Female-dominant World (Male lead transmigrates to the matriarchal world)
Two years ago, Gu Sui picked up a homeless woman in ancient costume from the street.
Apart from occasionally claiming to be a princess from a female-dominant country due to illness, her figure, appearance, intelligence, and martial arts skills were impeccable.
Naturally evolving from roommates to girlfriends, as time went on, Gu Sui found it increasingly difficult to tolerate her queen syndrome.
“Mu Jiulu, can you stop controlling me inside and out? Let’s break up.”
Gu Sui made a breakup call, and since then, he couldn’t find any trace of her.
A year later, Gu Sui, who was planning to move, woke up the next day and found himself in a different place.
“Young Master, today is the day you choose your Wife-master through martial arts competition at Jade Dew Pavilion. Please get up quickly.”
Gu Sui: Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?
As the only son of a general’s mansion in a female-dominant dynasty, the young empress personally issued a decree allowing Gu Sui to select his Wife-master through martial arts competition. Whoever could defeat him could marry him.
Gu Sui: “……”
He didn’t inherit the original owner’s martial prowess, so anyone could defeat him! And what the hell is a Wife-master?
Forced to come to Jade Dew Pavilion, the densely packed women below made Gu Sui’s agoraphobia act up, and his face was full of resistance.
Until he saw the Regent sitting on the second floor, with a smile on the corner of her lips, her eyes wicked and nonchalant.
Hmm… she looked a little familiar.
It turned out that the Regent also found him a little familiar.
Mu Jiulu fiddled with her bone clasp, her deep gaze locked on the man who was out of place in this world.
“Finally, I found you.”

The male lead being so proud of his wife is honestly adorable, even when he gets jealous.
And the female lead is so elegant and beautiful—I can’t wait to see this scene illustrated
Haha, did the ML really just say that to the FL? He’s so cute when he gets a little jealous.
Can’t wait for next chapter
The ML is so considerate of his wife. He treats her with so much care and gentleness, even when she doesn’t say a word—he just understands her. He’s honestly so perfect, I can’t 😭
I really hope the FL can overcome these painful feelings soon. I can’t bear to watch her suffer this much. 💔
