Consultation Room number 5, located at the very corner of the corridor.
Despite the comfortable atmosphere of the consultation room, Su Hee, who was sitting on the sofa, had a stern expression all along.
“Miss Oh Su Hee, what symptoms do you have when it gets severe?”
In response to the doctor’s question, Su Hee nervously fiddled with the tips of her nails.
“Sometimes it’s so dizzying that it’s hard to get up, and sometimes I vomit.”
The pen of the doctor, who was holding the patient’s chart, moved quickly.
“Last week, you said you couldn’t sleep. Has it improved?”
“No, it’s still the same. Do I need to increase the dose?”
“Let’s just observe until this week. You’re already on medication.”
The doctor who was writing down the consultation details closed the chart.
“Miss Oh Su Hee, you’re showing improvement little by little.”
The doctor tried to relax Su Hee’s tension with a smile.
It had been 8 months since Su Hee first visited the psychiatric clinic with hope.
Though the symptoms were improving, it was far from feeling a significant change.
Moreover, insomnia, which had not been an issue until recently, began to torment Su Hee.
“Doctor, I need some realistic advice.”
Her eyes shook weakly as if they were about to lose focus at any moment.

“Please tell me honestly. Could I fail to return to my old self?”
She knew her body well. She knew that she would not easily return to her old self.
Yet, the reason she asked the doctor was to somehow alleviate her anxiety.
“Honestly speaking,”
“……”
“You might not be able to return completely to your old self.”
It felt as if her heart was dropping, as if she was receiving a death sentence.
The shock did not easily fade, even though she expected this.
“I know that your current symptoms are fatal to an actress like Miss Oh Su Hee. But don’t give up here.”
Despite the words of hope that followed, Su Hee’s heart had already emptied out.
“You will definitely overcome this, just like the protagonists you played.”
Words intended to encourage courage just passed by.
Continuing to act in this condition was nearly impossible.
‘A rising child actor with a promising future.’
‘Kim Tae Yi’s child actor Oh Su Hee, her acting gives you chills.’
‘Oh Su Hee, who was highly praised as a genius in acting. Secured her position with mature acting.’

She had been acting since she was thirteen.
For a solid 14 years, she lived with scripts and communicated with people through the camera.
If she could, she wanted to act until the moment she drew her last breath.
But she couldn’t start acting right away.
“Miss Oh Su Hee, let’s try a little harder.”
Su Hee couldn’t show a smile to the doctor conveying the positive message.
Su Hee, wearing a black hat, finished her storage and stood in front of the elevator.
As people passed behind her, Su Hee grabbed her bag and pulled her hat down deeper.
Rrrrr
Su Hee took a call from her manager while getting on the elevator that arrived just in time.
“Yes, brother.”
[Su Hee, where are you now?]
The voice of Chul Yong, who didn’t know that Su Hee was seeing a psychiatrist, was only bright.

“I’m out for a while.”
[Where did you go alone? If you had told me, I would have moved with you.]
“It’s a personal matter. But why did you contact me?”
[Are you going to the 3 million commemorative dinner for ‘Flood’ tonight?]
The disaster movie that Su Hee starred in last year attracted 3 million people in just 7 days after its release.
She wanted to be alone on a day like this, but the director contacted her the day before and told her to attend no matter what.
“I have to go. The director told me to come no matter what.”
As the elevator door opened while going down, Su Hee instinctively stretched her foot outside.
But Su Hee, who was about to leave the building, soon stuck to the floor.
She thought the door was opening on the first floor, but it was in front of the obstetrics and gynecology department on the third floor.
She didn’t even know what floor she was getting off because her mind was somewhere else.
[I’ll pick you up in front of your house by 6:30.] Su Hee answered while pressing the elevator button that had already gone upstairs.“Got it. Contact me when you leave.”
[Yes. If you’re sick or something happens, call me anytime.]
Chul Yong, who had worked with her for 10 years, was no different from a family to Su Hee.
She wanted to talk about what she had been counseling, but she knew how Chul Yong would react.
It was clear that Chul Yong, who has a delicate sensibility, would cry out loud there.

She felt like she would collapse as well, who had been holding on for eight months, if she saw Chul Yong’s tears.
“You worry a lot, brother.”
Ding
Soon the elevator coming down from the upper floor opened the door with a cheerful alert sound.
When the slim man standing near the elevator door stepped back, Su Hee put her body inside.
[You said you were dizzy and had indigestion last time, so I was worried. Should we go to the hospital together?]When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
