Hazen added, giving a thumbs-up. Even Kite wordlessly patted her shoulder, making Ruela’s face flush—happy they recognized her worth, yet strangely embarrassed.

“Th-then. Shall we make a plan now? We absolutely mustn’t let Duke Kuran discover our identities before I reach level 90.”

“Right. We need to be extremely careful.”

At Kite’s words, Hazen voiced his concern.

“But listen. Right now, outsiders can’t just freely enter our mansion. Earlier, Colette’s carriage couldn’t pass through the gate and had to stop, which led to an argument with Balder’s men. If this keeps happening, people might realize something’s actively preventing free access to the estate.”

Mitchell cautiously agreed with Hazen’s point.

“You’re right. While the barrier does keep us safe, it might actually draw suspicion about who we really are.”

Ruela had no choice but to agree.

“That’s true. I hadn’t considered that. Then here’s what we’ll do—I’ll shrink the barrier’s range from the entire estate down to just the building itself.”
