Hazen put away his defensive summon and pulled out an offensive one.

Vincenty’s health was down to about 20%, and it seemed they could finish him off with a concentrated assault.

Kite also gave up on pulling Vincenty’s aggro—since the boss no longer looked his way—and sheathed his shield, drawing his sword instead.

Mitchell didn’t chase after the retreating Vincenty; instead, he immediately switched to his bow and unleashed a barrage of attacks.

Seeing both Tien and Raphael pouring out attacks without sparing mana, Ruela cast her only offensive skill.

It was probably just a tickle, but she’d launched it as a gesture of joining the assault—yet unexpectedly, Vincenty clutched his eyes in pain after being hit by Ruela’s attack.

“Why’s he acting like that? Does his eyes hurt?”

Raphael countered Hazen’s remark.

“No, Ruela did something. Ruela, what kind of attack was that?”

“A light-based attack. I’m a healer, so that’s my only offensive skill.”

“So that’s why he’s squinting from the glare. After all, neither here nor in the monster habitats outside can you see even a speck of sunlight or brightness.”

Ruela nodded in agreement at Tien’s words.

There was no mention of this in the strategy forums. Perhaps no one had tried it because it was inefficient both for mana conservation and healer safety—or maybe it was simply a difference between there and here.

While Vincenty staggered and hesitated, Mitchell and Raphael intensified their attacks.

Thanks to everyone else attacking relentlessly, squeezing out every last ounce of strength, Vincenty’s health steadily dropped toward 0%.
