A moment later, Kite’s name was added to the party window. Since he had gone out on an errand and they had invited him to the party, he must have been quite flustered, wondering what was going on.
But they couldn’t tell him they were in the middle of an experiment. Although there was a chat window, it was not usable.
“It’s a shame we can’t communicate with people in other places.”
Hajen muttered. Kite’s name was added under theirs, but they were frustrated since they couldn’t communicate with him.
Then Luella thought of an old chat method they had used before and tried it.
“/party. Kite, what are you doing?”
They wondered if it would work, but a chat window was created below the party window.
“No way. How did you do this?”
Tien asked in surprise, but Luella did not answer right away, instead thinking about what to write in the chat window.
A moment later, the content that Luella had thought of appeared in the chat window.
[/party ‘Say /party’ and think or talk about what you want to say.]Hajen quickly followed the text and spoke.
“/party. Kite. It’s me, Hajen. This is so fascinating.”
[/party Kite. It’s me, Hajen. This is so fascinating.]“Huh? Look at this. It works, it really does!”
An excited Hajen was followed by Tien, who spoke.
[/party Brother, it’s Tien. Where are you now?] [/party What on earth is this?]Kite seemed to have followed the instructions above, as the chat window began to fill with conversation.
[/party Testing Luella’s soul guidance, Kite. Where are you?] [/party I met Michel.] [/party Then you must be near Camoon Village?] [/party I went further down. There are too many monsters here, so I’m going to clear them out and come back.]Luella stepped back a little and watched the quickly filling chat window.
They thought it would be convenient to have a keyboard function, but this method seemed better since others could not type, even if Luella could.
[/party See you at home.]With the last greeting, the chat ended, and Luella kicked Kite from the party. They thought he might be bothered while on an errand.
“It’s really amazing. We can communicate with people far away without sending a letter. Then is it possible with people in Elab?”
Hajen moved around to get a better view of the game screen and asked.
“It’s only possible with people whose names I know. I’m sure we can’t party with enemies, but I’m not sure if we can only party with ability users.”
“Let’s test it.”
Luella nodded at Hajen’s suggestion.
“Is there a suitable person among those who are not ability users?”
“Shall we call Cozette?”
“Who is that?”
“The person who will tailor Luella’s clothes.”
Luella frowned at Hajen’s answer.
“What’s the exact name?”
“Leona Cozette.”
Luella quickly called Leona Cozette to the party. Soon, Leona’s name appeared in the party window, and they cheered.
Since she was not an ability user, only two lines, red and yellow, were displayed under her name without a blue mana bar.
“It worked, it worked.”
“Quickly explain to her.”
While Tien was explaining to Cozette, Luella adjusted the party window and deleted the skill window and status window.
“It’s gone?”
“Yes. Information about health, mana, and energy is vital. The skill list is, of course, important too. Of course, we can’t party with enemies, but others who are partied with us could pass our information on, so we need to be careful.”
“Cozette is trustworthy.”
Luella quickly nodded at Hajen’s objection.
“I know. It wasn’t suspicion, but caution can’t be bad. Sorry if it made you feel bad.”
Hajen’s frowned face relaxed at Luella’s explanation.
“I see, I think I was too sensitive. Caution can’t be bad.”
“Is that so? It seems I was too sensitive. Caution can’t be bad.”
“It’s fortunate that you know. Indeed, by inviting someone to the party, we can tell whether they are a foe or not. If a message appears saying that the person cannot be invited to the party, that person is our enemy, no matter what they look like.”
Hazgen once again admired.
“It’s truly amazing. This is incredibly useful information.”
“Isn’t it?”
In the game, this was a feature that all users could use, but here it was a special ability that only Luella could use. This tremendous privilege was too reassuring.
“I haven’t received the letter yet. So I told her to come here myself.”
Tien, who had been chatting with Miss Cozette, relayed the information.
“Yes, I saw the conversation between the two. I tried it now, and it seems that only group chat is possible, as individual conversations do not work. It’s a pity that secret conversations cannot be held.”
“It’s a pity indeed. But even so, it’s tremendous.”
“Is it? Then you should now go and help me with my quest, right? As I level up, I can learn more convenient and beneficial skills.”
At Luella’s words, the two of them put their hands on their chests and shouted.
“Just leave it to us.”
“Command us as you will. Where shall we take you?”
Luella, cheered on by her fervent supporters, opened the quest list window.
[Party Return Skill Acquisition]When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
