A knock was heard, and a man who was said to be Lapellian came in pushing a tray filled with tea.
“Let’s find a butler and a servant first. How is it that not a single one helps? Do you know that I’m handling everything inside right now?”
Kite spoke, lowering his head as if tired.
“Let me formally introduce. This is Earl Lapellian Bart Yeongshik, a magic user.”
“Nice to meet you. Let’s get along well in the future.”
A mage was added to the party. It was good news. Luella shook Lapellian’s extended hand and then asked.
“What kind of magic do you use?”
Lapellian sat down with an interested expression and answered.
“Wind, water, fire. All of them.”
Luella brought up the screen.

In the upper left corner of the game window, the character’s name and level were displayed, and next to it were three colored status bars.
Red was the health bar, commonly called the lifeline. The closer that line goes to 0, the more life becomes endangered.
Blue was the mana bar. For characters like wizards and healers who use mana, they value the blue bar like the health bar, as they cannot use skills without mana.
Among game users, the perception that healer or wizard users are more sensitive than warrior or summoner users was all because of that mana bar.
As that line decreases with each skill use, if there’s no mana to use a skill, wizards or healers can only suck their fingers and play.
It’s fine in a relaxed situation, but in a fierce siege or raid, if you stand there like a scarecrow, you’ll naturally get cursed, so you have to be sensitive about management.
Yellow was the energy bar.
As that line goes down to 0, energy is lost, and the same attack becomes weaker, and eventually, you can’t move.
On the bottom left was the chat window. It’s for talking to other users within the game, so there will be no need to use it here.
On the upper right were the quest list and the bulletin board list created earlier, and below that was a bag. Clicking it reveals 80 slots, where things like herbs or potions can be stacked up to 50 of the same type.

At the very bottom right were the friend registration window and logout button.
Luella opened the friend registration window and added Kite and Lapellian’s names. Then, next to Lapellian’s name in the special notes column, she wrote down the usable magic he told her.
Without a keyboard, letters had to be entered by imagining them in the head.
“Wind, water, fire, all possible.”
Recording what she wanted to remember, Luella saw the note made as she thought and asked again.
“Have you tried hunting using magic?”
Lapellian’s eyebrows slightly rose.
“Of course. I’ve been going out to hunt demons regularly. If left alone, they come to Hellane.”
“How did you fight?”
Lapellian answered with a smile, but with a cool tone.

“It feels like I’m being interrogated.”
Luella turned off the screen and looked at Rafael.
“Is it wrong to ask if there’s anything I can do to help with the guild’s operation? You haven’t even awakened yet. Do you think it will help to ask when you don’t even know your own abilities?”
Kite, who had been listening to the argument of the two, sighed.
“I wanted to say it when we were all together, but Rafael, you hear it and tell him instead. The one here now is not Luella Rominin.”
Rafael looked at Kite as if he was joking.
“What are you talking about? Isn’t she clearly sitting in front of me?”
“Something must have gone wrong while reviving the soul. We called another soul.”
Rafael’s eyes widened as if he couldn’t believe it.
“I knew it, it was strange. But if this person is not that illfated wicked woman Luella Rominin, then who the heck is she?”
“She comes from a place, or should I say dimension, completely different from here. I came from there too. Since I was brought here unexpectedly, I don’t know anything right now, so I don’t think I can answer if you ask in English.”

At Luella’s answer, Rafael nodded as if he understood.
“So a completely different soul has entered the shell of Luella Rominin.”
“Yes. And fortunately, I am quite proficient in this area. So I want to know in advance in case there might be a hunt. Am I allowed to ask a question?”
Rafael answered with a broad smile, unlike before.
“I’ll answer as much as you like.”
Male lead Asks for a Divorce Every Day
It’s not often you come across a plot like this in the female-dominant genre — make sure to check it out!
This is a novel I’m planning to reread as well.
The male lead is strong, skilled in martial arts, and not the usual fragile type you often see in matriarchal novels.
Meanwhile, the female lead is a scientist—rational and logical. Even when she falls for the male lead, she doesn’t let her emotions cloud her decisions.
If you push through the first few chapters, you’ll gradually find the story really intriguing.
It has a mix of mystery, detective elements, and romance.
The author’s writing style is like crafting a puzzle—except they deliberately leave out a few pieces, making it hard to predict what happens next, yet keeping you hooked.
In the end, everything will come together and be explained.
One-sentence summary: Wife, stop playing with beakers and look at me!
In a laboratory accident, research scientist Zhu Wansheng accidentally travels to a matriarchal world. The original owner of the body is an eighteen-year-old only daughter of a wealthy rouge merchant, already married with a handsome young man.
Zhu Wansheng grins: Nice! She always said she was heaven’s favorite granddaughter. After a life of toil in her previous life, she can enjoy blessings in this one.
However, her joy lasts no more than three seconds as bad news arrives: the original owner’s family is about to go bankrupt, and her husband wants a divorce.
Even worse, she’s stuck with a research system full of restrictions.
Zhu Wansheng: ? Is this the destiny of a research dog?
——
Faced with this mess, Zhu Wansheng pours herself a bowl of wine to drown her sorrows. In her drunken haze, her husband arrives.
His figure is imposing, holding a long sword, with a dignified air that captivates Zhu Wansheng.
Gu Yingqing, however, looks at the alcohol-reeking Zhu Wansheng with undisguised disgust and coldly asks, “Divorce or not?” The intoxicated Zhu Wansheng mumbles vaguely, “I think… it’s not… it’s not… impossible!”
——
The next day, after sobering up, Zhu Wansheng is full of energy, rolling up her sleeves ready to make a big move. As for yesterday? She has no memory of it.
Zhu Wansheng is ambitious; a research dog fears nothing!
Upgrading rouge, extracting fragrances, producing perfumes, researching lipsticks… all shall bow to the power of modern technology!
The original owner’s dying rouge shop is revitalized. Her mother is pleased and with a wave of her hand, passes on the family business to her. As she takes control and her experimental results gain popularity, it’s the pinnacle of her life…
——
But there are always those who can’t stand to see her doing well. Jealousy, scheming, assassination attempts – they want nothing less than her life.
The person who has always kept his distance from her suddenly holds her tightly in his arms, eyes full of concern.
She is unharmed, but he falls into a pool of blood…
Zhu Wansheng feels guilty, “I can grant you one wish.”
Gu Yingqing tentatively circles his arms around her, carefully resting his head in the crook of her neck, pleading softly, “I regret it. Can we not divorce?”
Zhu Wansheng: ? When did I agree to a divorce?

The newly developed rouge is beautifully packaged, and Zhu Wansheng is eager to try it.
Gu Yingqing suddenly appears: “My lady, may I apply it for you?”
Cool fingertips lightly brush her lips. His Adam’s apple bobs as he leans in for a light bite.
Zhu Wansheng: ?
Gu Yingqing: It smells so good, I wanted to taste it…
On a warm spring day, Zhu Wansheng tries a new perfume: “Spring Night.” Gu Yingqing corners her against a wall.
Warm breath lingers on her neck.
“My lady, from now on, may I test the fragrances for you?”
