In response to Raphael’s words, Kite opened the game screen to check the levels.

“Thanks to the masquerade, I’ve reached level 94, and excluding Tien and Ruella, others have also reached level 93.”

Hazen also peered at the screen and commented, “Even Ruella will reach level 90 by leveling up just seven more times. Tien is still at level 92, but she’ll likely achieve the target similar to Ruella.”

Ruella opened the talk board to check the progress of other guilds.

Although the 3rd-ranked guild with three keys had increased, the 1st and 2nd-ranked guilds remained the same as before.

Seeing that the legendary guild, which had been progressing smoothly, had stopped at five keys, Ruella smirked. It seemed challenging to strategize against the monsters with blue rings, probably indicating they possessed the malevolent force.

The 2nd-ranked guild faced a similar situation. Judging by the absence of any guild catching up to the legendary guild, it appeared that the fifth named boss with a blue ring and beyond would be significantly difficult and challenging compared to the previous ones.

Even after browsing through other users’ posts, no information regarding high-level named bosses was found. The discussions mainly revolved around disclosed monsters and irrelevant chatters.

Some users were curious about why the legendary guild was struggling.

Deciding that there was nothing more to check, Ruella closed the game screen and said.
“Now that we have the masks, let’s go hunt for the knight, Partago, tomorrow. If we hurry, we might be able to catch up since the top guilds are maintaining their speed.”

“Yes, but Gart mentioned getting verified when entering the mansion. How should we handle that?”

“We’ll have to use teleportation to move.”

Raphael frowned at Ruella’s response. “What if we manage to defeat the knight Partago within an hour? It’s a situation where we can’t teleport right away.”

Ruella shrugged her shoulders as she sipped the tea provided by Hazen. “Wear the mask and wait until the teleportation cooldown is over to defeat Partago.”

“That’s the reward we received earlier, right? Can we really trust just that?”

In response to Raphael’s concern, Kite said, “Try using the reward we got earlier. Your appearance will change.”

Curious, the two quickly put on their masks.

“Oh? Wow, it changed! I really can’t recognize you! But why do you look cute? What did I turn into?”

Looking at Hazen with a large build and a puppy face, Raphael asked, “What am I?”

“You’re a bug.”

“A bug?”

“Yeah, a big bug sitting on the chair.”

At Hazen’s disgusted reaction, Ruella burst into laughter. Despite Kite transforming into something fearsome like a bear, the two found it amusing.

“With this level of transformation, wouldn’t it be completely safe even if we were caught by the overseer?”
Raphael rushed to the dressing table, examining his reflection in the mirror and said, “But what if it comes off during a fight? Does it have a cooldown for transforming again?”

Hazen asked seriously while taking off the mask, “Yes. You can only transform once a day. So you have to be careful not to let it come off.”

After carefully cleaning the mask and putting it in his bag, Hazen proudly remarked, “It seems like I’m becoming invincible. I’m not scared at all now.”

“Once we complete the hideout and housing system, we won’t have to worry even if all the demons in Kurun come attacking,” replied Ruella confidently.

“Shall we rest for now in preparation for tomorrow’s decisive battle? We’ve been busy since dawn, and I’m a bit tired,” Hazen suggested.

Raphael, rubbing his eyes after a long yawn, gave a nagging lecture, “We’ll depart at 5 a.m. tomorrow, so you must wake up immediately when I call you. Especially, Hazen and Ruella. Both of you must remember this.”

Hazen grumbled, “How many times do you think we overslept?”

Even Ruella pouted in agreement, “Exactly. It’s unfair to claim that we’re always late just because we overslept once or twice.”

“Not once or twice,” pointed out Kite, and Raphael firmly stated, “I should make a calendar soon and hang it in the hall. I’ll mark every time someone is late and write down the names. Saying it’s just once or twice, how can you forget only the negative things like that?”

“Alright, alright. I’m going to bed first!”
As Ruella hastily ran away, Hazen waved his hand casually and escaped outside. “See you all tomorrow! Goodbye!”

“Oh my, it seems there are quite a few observers, don’t you think?” Tien tilted her head, listening to the sounds in the forest.

“Can we handle the observers while catching Patako?” Hazen pointed at Mitchell and said, “Before that, try to get him to come to his senses. We can’t have him just staring at my appearance like that when the fight is about to start.”
