Kite got up from his desk and moved toward the sofa, answering Luella’s question.

“Yes. Let’s leave those two to sleep and go on a quest, the three of us.”

Luella felt bad for disturbing the soundly sleeping people, but hinted that they should all go together for the sake of quick leveling.

“Going together would be good. I noticed yesterday that even if it’s a little, experience points increase for everyone when we complete quests together.”

“Is that so? Then let’s wake them up.”

At Luella’s single comment, Kite immediately agreed and started waking up Tien and Rafael.

“Ugh, I hardly got any sleep…”

Seeing Rafael stumbling to get up, Luella headed to the kitchen. They’d all probably wake up if they had something to drink.

She’d felt awkward at first, intimidated by the kitchen appliances without Emma, but fortunately, her inventory included a stove she’d received as a quest reward.

She could make a fatigue-recovery tea with a single cooking skill, but she decided it was better to save ingredients and give them regular tea. If needed, she could give them stamina potions.

Luella returned from the kitchen with a tray holding a teapot and tea cups.

“I can’t imagine a regular noblewoman doing this.”

Whether Rafael was waking up Mitchel or coming down, he rushed down and took the tray from her as soon as he saw Luella.

“Other people here are doing things that top-tier nobles can’t even imagine either.”

They would take care of the horses themselves or even ride carriages, things nobles wouldn’t normally think of doing.

“That’s true, but we’ve moved around so much that we’ve come to seek convenience. Doing it yourself is the fastest way to get things done, after all.”

As they entered, Hajen quickly pulled out the stove. He proudly showed it off to Kite.

“Kite, look at this. I got it as a reward yesterday.”

Ever since Kite had firmly told her never to disband the party, Luella had kept the party ongoing.

There was no need to make trouble by disbanding the party and disabling the bag, especially when he was this enthusiastic about it.

“Oh, the one you were talking about yesterday.”

“You don’t need fuel. Just put something on it, and it heats up automatically. And then, with one click from across the screen, it goes into the bag.”

Kite’s expression subtly changed as he looked at the stove.

“You’ve got a good item.”
Though he didn’t show disappointment on his face, something about his expression hinted at it. Others in the room seemed not to notice, but Luella quickly picked up on what he was thinking and said what he wanted to hear.

“Later, there will be quests far better than this. We’ll do those together for sure.”

At Luella’s words, a smile lightly touched the corners of Kite’s mouth. Hazen, who had been observing, tilted his head slightly.

“Kite, you’re interested in this kind of thing, too?”

“Do you think I don’t know what’s good?”

“Unexpected. You’re not the type to show it even if you wanted something. Or have I just not noticed that you’re actually quite greedy? … How did Luella know?”

To Luella, Hazen’s question seemed strange.

“How could I not know? It was written all over his face that he wanted it.”

Luella added tea leaves to the heated teapot and retorted as she steeped them.

“Who? Kite? Just now?”

“Yes.”

Hazen poured tea into his cup and was skeptical.

“Did we see the same person?”

At his question, Luella somehow found Kite to be poignant.
