Luella pondered for a moment and then stood up.

“Everyone stayed up all night, so let’s rest for now. Especially Michel. Michel really needs to rest well. Healing skills may have healed physical injuries, but they can’t eliminate mental damage and stress.”

“I’m fine.”

At Michel’s refusal, Luella insisted.

“I’m sleepy. I also need to show Shuna where to rest. So, Michel, go and sleep as well. Balder probably won’t be back for a while, so you have time. In the meantime, you can do quests in the capital. You’ll reach level 20 in no time.”

“Alright. Let’s rest for now. I’m actually really tired too.”

Upon hearing Hazen’s words, Rapael also yawned dramatically. It seemed like everyone was trying to make Michel feel comfortable enough to rest, even going so far as to make exaggerated noises.

As they were about to leave, Pano spoke.

“Miss Luella, your bedroom has been moved to the second floor.”

“Was there an available room on the second floor?”

Luella directed the question at Pano, but Hazen answered on his behalf.

“Yes. The room right in front as you climb the stairs was vacant. Nobody wanted it because it’s a master bedroom with an attached secondary room.”

“Then Shuna should use the room I used to have. No, let’s find her another room. That one feels strange.”

“The second floor is full, and there are only rooms left on the first floor. The third floor doesn’t have any bedrooms, just a nursery and classrooms, but now we’re using them as a costume workshop and office.”

“I’ll move downstairs then.”

Pano suggested, observing Luella’s contemplation.

It appeared he was willing to give up his second-floor room for Shuna. In response, Shuna hastily interjected.

“I’m fine with any room.”

Shuna said she was fine with using the first floor, but that wasn’t an option.

“Though it’s inconvenient, let’s use the secondary bedroom attached to my room for a few days. Once the house is sorted, we can decide on bedrooms then.”

Having said that, Luella seemed to remember something and asked Hazen.

“What will happen when the Zenon family comes? Excluding the room I used, there’s only one bedroom left on the first floor.”

“We can clear out the rooms we’re using for storage. However…”

Hazen subtly glanced toward the medicine room and trailed off.

“Why are you looking there?”

In a premonitory tone, Hazen explained.

“We’re using the empty guest rooms for storage.”

“And?”

“We can move things we don’t use often to the basement, but the disguise tools will be frequently used, so that can’t be done. Could we borrow some space in the medicine room? My room is already full.”

“Do you have more disguise tools besides what’s in Tien’s room?”

“That’s Tien’s. Mine are downstairs.”

“Just how much stuff do you have?”

“Well, a little…? But all these were collected for all of us to succeed. You’ve been benefiting too, haven’t you?”

Remembering the clothes, wig, and glasses she was currently wearing from Ralph, Luella nodded as if she had no other choice.

“I’ll only lend you a corner. Is that alright?”

“That’s more than enough.”

“Really enough?”

Hazen, who chuckled at Tien’s incredulous question, pushed Luella out of the reception room.

“Now, let’s get some rest. Sleep for a couple of hours and come back down. We’ll go out for quests in the evening.”

“I don’t mind, but Michel really needs to rest today.”

“I know that. I was the first to suggest it. Michel will eat dinner early and go rest, so don’t worry.”

“Alright. I’ll come down around dinner time then.”

“See you later.”

Exiting the room, Luella went upstairs to the bedrooms with Shuna.

“There’s also a door in the secondary bedroom leading outside. Just think of it as the room next door.”

The newly occupied bedroom offered a splendid view overlooking the garden.

“Look at this. There’s even a terrace.”

Judging by the size of the room and the furniture layout, it seemed like the mansion owner’s bedroom.
Access to the auxiliary bedroom was directly available through the crescent-shaped terrace.

“It must be a couple’s bedroom.”

The bedroom where Shuna temporarily stayed was called an auxiliary bedroom, but it was nearly as large as the main bedroom.

“It seems so. We share the terrace and the bathroom, and there’s a connecting door.”

“Is it alright for me to use such a nice place?”

Shuna, who was of a maid status, hesitated to enter the room as if she shouldn’t be there.

“Shuna, this place is different from what you know. There’s no ‘can use this’ or ‘can’t use that.’ Do you know what criteria people living in this mansion use to decide bedrooms?”

Shuna shook her head as if she didn’t know.

“They decide rooms based on the order of arrival at the mansion, regardless of social status or origin.”

“So that’s why your room was on the first floor?”

“Mm, that’s because I specifically chose it.”

“Why?”

Shuna tilted her head as if she couldn’t understand.

“It’s a hassle to climb stairs. Just crossing the hall gives me easy access to my drawing-room, dispensary, dining room, and office, so why would I want to go all the way up to the second floor?”

Luella went out to the terrace and looked outside as she spoke.

“But once I’m here on the second floor, it is nice. Just going up one floor changes the view.”

So this is why people prefer higher floors. The garden as viewed from the first and the second floor really differed.

“Shuna, don’t just stand there. Come in. This will be your room until we go back down to the first floor. I don’t mind sharing this room with you, but… you’d probably find it uncomfortable. It would be better to move rooms once things are sorted.”

As Shuna was about to reply, a knock was heard.

“Come in.”

Upon permission, Pano came in carrying Shuna’s luggage.

“I brought the bag that was in the carriage.”

“Alright. What happened to the carriage? Can we go out?”

Pano shook his head.

“I took only the horse. The carriage can’t pass through the door unless it’s disassembled.”

Luella looked at Pano with a surprised expression.

“Is there someone who can disassemble a carriage?”

“We could do it, but Hazen said to leave it as is. He said it looks pretty good in the hall.”

“Come to think of it, that’s true. It’s not bad.”

Hearing Luella, Pano’s lips curled slightly.

“Why are you smiling?”

“You and Master Hazen seem to have very similar tastes.”

For some reason, she felt she was increasingly being mentioned alongside Hazen.

“How dare you. What about me resembles such a juvenile?”

“But the only people who thought the carriage in the hall was fine were you and Master Hazen.”

Luella raised her voice as if it was unbelievable.

“What? Everyone else opposed?”

“Master Raphael even suggested destroying it with magic.”

“Pano, do you also think it’s better gone?”

“I’m not the only one, I presume. Your maid probably thinks the same.”

Luella glanced at Shuna.

“Is that true, Shuna?”

“It’s certainly unusual to have a carriage in the hall.”

“People don’t know what they’re missing. There’s a thing called installation art. The carriage in the hall is unique and therefore cool.”

“Most people probably prefer something more conventional. Having a carriage indoors is just too unfamiliar. We’re likely the only ones who have done this.”

At Pano’s comment, Luella nodded as if agreeing.

“That’s right. It has value precisely because it’s the first. I, for one, agree with Hazen. Though I find the comparison between Hazen and me distasteful, I won’t deny something I like. Go and relay my opinion as well.”

Pano respectfully nodded his head.

“The masters were going to ask the Duke when he arrived, but it seems it’s already decided. Who would dare oppose when you say it’s fine?”
