“The bridal chamber door was breached too easily.”

“Make sure that doesn’t happen.”
“Understood.”
“Leave it to us.”
The subordinates stiffened their faces in indignation.
Such incidents occurring also meant that Arthur, the rolling stone who had come in, hadn’t properly established his position in the marquisate, and that he was defenseless.
They decided to bring Arthur’s knights into the mansion and build their own territory, emphasizing the need to make the people inside the marquis mansion recognize ‘Arthur’ as the respected heir and ruler with his own domain.
The purpose was to have Arthur’s people walking around the mansion, naturally showing the knights guarding their posts, and making the mansion staff grow accustomed to the presence of a legitimate heir with proper authority.

Arthur smiled brightly.
“As you all know, we have to go to the capital. While we’re away, make sure my position here doesn’t become disorganized—prepare well.”
