The white carriage, surrounded by golden chains, cut through the misty forest. A knight on a massive white horse. High-ranking priests. Shaina’s splendid waves surrounded only one saint.

The unexpected arrival of an uninvited guest who forced the Duke’s visit.

‘He really came.’

Receiving the letter was one thing, but facing him in person was even more astonishing. Soon, the carriage that entered through the main gate silently opened.

The first to come out was Grand Chamberlain Perberov. Perhaps tainted by the recent account book incident, his gaze towards us was unpleasant.

After composing his expression, he extended his hand towards the carriage.

“Milady, let me escort you.”

“Yes.”

It was a pure voice tinged with a hint of enchantment.

Eventually, a delicate hand emerged from the carriage to receive the escort. The woman with silver hair like a galaxy revealed herself.

‘It’s really Elcias.’

Beautiful, with a small face, blue eyes, a slightly crooked nose, and lips described exactly as the protagonist in the book.

Stepping on the land of the Duke’s estate, the newly appointed Elcias slowly blinked her eyes. She glanced around as if searching for someone but soon fixed her gaze on Kashaar.

“Lord Kashaar!”

‘Lord Kashaar?’

Usually, wouldn’t she call someone by their name when they first meet? As if that wasn’t enough, Elcias rushed towards Kashaar, trying to embrace him.

“Milady! You must maintain decorum.”

Perberov, surprised, hastily restrained Elcias.

Elcias, in turn, twisted her face away and violently brushed off Perberov’s hand.

“Oh, what does it matter?”

The surroundings fell silent at her tone, hinting at her being a saint.

‘Her personality… It’s very different from what I saw in the original.’

The original Elcias was shy, considerate, and kind-hearted to everyone she met. However, the Elcias in front of me seemed closer to a feisty noblewoman.

Having pushed aside Perberov, Elcias smiled broadly at Kashaar as if to say, “When did this happen?”

“I am Elcias. Call me Elcias.”

Was it because of her complete face or something else? Her attitude was charming enough to forget her previously rude behavior.

However, it didn’t sit well with Kashaar.

“Don’t call a duke by his name so casually. Are you bragging about being from a commoner background?”

A cold sneer caused the faces of the temple people to stiffen.

Although the atmosphere became tense, Elcias was undeterred.

“Why would you say that? You’ll be uneasy without me around in the future.”

When Elcias squinted her eyes and smiled, it was not charming innocence but rather a flirtatious allure.

She raised her lips, painted in vivid red, seeming confident.

“Because I’ll make it that way.”

Elcias’s attitude was peculiar for a saint.

She looked at Kashaar as if genuinely curious, her lovely smile replaced by coquettishness.

“It’s strange. Don’t you want to hold me?”

“Milady, you must refrain from such words.”

Perberov intervened again, but Elcias remained unyielding.
“Grand Chamberlain, please be quiet. Where does one dare to interrupt when the saint is speaking?”

At her words, Perberov’s expression momentarily crumpled. Elcias, unabashed, reached out to Kashaar.

“Is it because you’re embarrassed?”

Just before her delicate hand touched his clothes, Kashaar sharply swatted her hand away.

“Ah! It hurts!”

“Milady!”

Startled priests rushed over, soothing Elcias’s injured hand. I, too, was surprised by Kashaar’s attitude towards Elcias.

‘He doesn’t even flinch.’

Any anxiety that the black rabbit had conveyed was completely dispelled.

On the other hand, I couldn’t help but worry.

‘Then who will lift Kashaar’s curse?’

No matter how much I play the role of a tranquillizer, leaving the seat for just 30 minutes causes chaos; it was a difficult situation.

‘And if I don’t comply with Dunois’s request, it’s self-destruction.’

At this rate, I might be separated from Kashaar for the rest of my life.

While I was contemplating such concerns, the priests gathered around Elcias were making all kinds of commotion.

“Milady, are you okay?!”

“I don’t know, maybe? It hurts so much!”

“We will treat it right away.”

They held Elcias’s reddened hand and frowned in concern.

However, such wounds disappeared with the sacred power of the priests.

As soon as her hand healed, Perberov’s protest followed.

“What is this nonsense, Duke Vladis!”

However, Kashaar, who was quite angry in front of the furious priest, just chuckled.

“It’s nothing more than a trivial matter.”

Kashaar took out a handkerchief and wiped his hands.

The handkerchief, used only once, was thrown to the ground and fell in a flutter.

“Is this how men are flirted with, taught by the temple? If not, were you a woman doing whatever you pleased before becoming a saint?”

Rather than blaming Elcias for her rudeness, Kashaar’s tone implied that it was the temple’s fault or her birth circumstances.

However, Elcias, unaware of such an atmosphere, was completely ignoring it.

“Oh, even if I’m pretty, please refrain from saying such things!”
