“We really met.”

Mikael’s eyes were soaked in emotion as he mumbled.

‘What’s wrong with him? Did he eat something weird in the forest?’

A sudden appearance, and then this reaction.

I tried to pull my hand away, but he didn’t let go.

“Um, can you let go and talk…”

“Separate from Her Highness.”

As I hesitated, Rudbion drew his sword.

Startled, Mikael tightened his grip on the hand that held me.

“Even if you’re royalty, entering the ducal castle unauthorized, you’ll be considered an enemy.”

“Hold on, just hold on.”

Finally, when the sword was almost to my neck, Mikael let go of me.

He hastily rummaged through his pockets and showed something to everyone.

“Look at this, please. I was invited.”

“……What is this?”

“Ah, it’s not what it looks like.”

Seeing the crumpled piece of paper, Rudbion frowned.

Mikael started to hurriedly smooth out the paper.

Then, what looked like trash turned into a crumpled paper bird.

‘Isn’t this something that Louis made?’

It was identical to the one that had captivated me before.

Proudly lifting the paper bird on his palm, he mentioned Louis.

“Louis sent this to me. I was invited, but the magic got cut off in the middle…”

Mikael trailed off.

‘Could it be, the secret friend Louis talked about is Mikael?’

Sending a magiccreated bird all the way to the Imperial Palace.

Moreover, his new friend turned out to be the male protagonist.

I was undecided whether to praise or reprimand him.

“Did you attend the royal ceremony?”

“……Yes. I knew I shouldn’t, but… I wanted to go. I’m sorry.”

Mikael lowered his head.

Seeing his desperate face, I felt like a villain.

“No, you don’t have to apologize to me.”

It seemed Mikael’s longing for royal gatherings existed even before the original story.

“Did you sneak in here? People must be worried.”

I couldn’t be angry since Louis called him.

Moreover, he had been trapped in the mist due to a magic malfunction.

‘What would have happened if we hadn’t found him?’

The heroine almost faced a poisonous trap.

Despite my concerns, Mikael mumbled to himself,

“Worry…… right.”

Following that, his eyes harbored a desolate light.

“Nobody would care about someone like me anyway.”

Regrettably, Mikael’s words were currently true.

‘The unawakened royalty, hated by the Empress.’

That was Mikael’s current position.

Not just the Empress and the Crown Prince, but even the servants in his residence constantly ignored Mikael.

Seeing Mikael holding back tears, I genuinely wondered.

‘How can you mistreat such a face?’

It’s a face you can’t possibly harbor ill will toward.

Wasn’t this the person the heroine fell for at first sight?

The real Mikael consisted of three elements.

‘Beauty, despair, frustration.’

He had the essential elements to be the male protagonist.

Though there were no connections between Mikael and Kashar yet, you never know.

‘First, I need to lift his spirits and send him off.’

Next was to ask Louis what happened.

I extended my hand toward Mikael.

“Take it.”

“……Yes?”

Surprised, he took my hand.

With all my strength, I lifted Mikael up.

‘Now he looks a little less pitiful.’

A face that makes you feel guilty, even if you’ve done nothing wrong.

“Don’t think like that.”

I tried my best to offer a warm smile, and Mikael’s eyes wavered.

“There must be someone out there who values Prince Mikael. Would you want to make them sad?”

“……I guess.”

“There’s no such thing as a useless person.”

Sorry, Elsirius. I borrowed your line.

Since I even used the heroine’s line, it should be comforting enough.

Stealing a glance at Mikael, his expression had brightened considerably.

‘Not just his face, but…’

Mikael was smiling as if he could illuminate the entire world.

“I’ve never heard something like that before.”

“Ah, it’s nothing.”

“Louis was right. You really are a kind person.”

What on earth had the two of them been talking about?
I planned to look for Louis as soon as I returned home.

Of course, I would have to send Mikael away first.

“Now, please return to your residence…”

“I’ve heard in the world that Your Highness has saved Duke Vladis.”

Mikael’s voice, seemingly tinged with emotion, was truly peculiar.

‘…Who saved whom?’

I wasn’t sure what sort of world he was talking about, but it was overly romanticized.

‘We are just ordinary lovers.’

“I’m not sure what you’re saying.”

“Don’t you know?”

He continued to act shamelessly, even after I said I didn’t know.

Mikael eventually fell to his knees in front of me again.

“No, Your Highness. You can’t do this here!”

“Please, save me as well.”

“I’m telling you, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Mikael’s eyes were still filled with desperation.

I began to doubt if we were even speaking the same language.

“Prince Mikael, I’m in a romantic relationship with the Duke. Nobody is saving anybody here.”

If he wanted to pray, he should go to the temple. Pulling himself together would be even better.

“I understand.”

Did he truly understand?

While I was rendered speechless, Mikael’s audacity reached its peak.

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband

This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.

They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.

In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.

When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.

She makes his life a living hell.

And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.

Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!

Intro

Dong Xia lost her memory.

Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”

Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.

…

The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.

She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.

Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.

No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!

Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂

*

Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.

The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.

In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.

And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

Notes:

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.

2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
