The Mad Commander is Obsessive (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 53
“Your Highness the Princess. Where are you?”
The moist sound of secret breaths exchanged in the darkness was abruptly cut off by the maid’s desperate cry.
The frantic footsteps of the maids echoed through the corridor.
“This is terrible! Where on earth could she have gone?”
“I’ll search this way.”
Aaron frowned at the loud clamor of the maids’ voices, which shattered the corridor’s previous tranquility.
Their lips, which had seemed they would never part, reluctantly pulled away from each other.
Delia’s lips were swollen and glistened a vivid red.
Aaron gently wiped her lips with his thumb and grumbled softly.
“They really won’t give us even a moment’s peace.”
Her eyes blurred from passion, her cheeks flushed like ripe peaches, even her hair tousled from his touch—
to have to send back such a tempting princess intact.
With a pang of injustice, Aaron kissed Delia’s round forehead.
Straightening her disheveled clothes, he whispered in a low voice,
“Don’t worry about the council—I’ll handle everything myself.”

Does the queen really think Delia would be better off in Boswell? She should know better. Whether enemy or ally, Delia would be treated as an object and used for her relation to the throne and ability to bear children. At least this way Delia can not only be happy but retain her dignity. Or is the queen perhaps grieving that her son will be deposed and wants to send Delia away so there is noone to replace the crown prince?
It’s hard to believe the princess has no allies within the palace, among the council or elders or even within the kingdom.
