The Mad Commander is Obsessive (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 46
Even in the trampled gardens of Iorenti, the beautiful sunset light descended without fail.
The royal palace of Iorenti had lost all trace of its usual liveliness.
The palace staff remained imprisoned, and Imperial Soldiers occasionally patrolled, keeping watch over the palace.
The Queen and Delia walked through the garden, cutting through a silence sharp enough to slice flesh.
Delia followed the Queen, lost in deep thought.
Father and the Commander-in-Chief?
Just what could the two of them possibly be discussing?
Would Father grant his permission for this marriage to the Empire’s Commander-in-Chief?
Would such a union even be possible?
Every worry swirled endlessly in her mind.
Yet even these thoughts were soon interrupted.
“How could you come back again? I sent you away because it’s dangerous here.”
The Queen’s voice, trembling with emotion, moistened Delia’s heart.
Unnoticed, the Queen had halted and turned to face Delia.
Seeing her mother drenched in red twilight, looking so sorrowful, pierced Delia’s heart.

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”

Crazy blanket.
First the commander was a rope and now he is a blanket.

Those who wore coral-stone earrings…
Coral is typically prized by island cultures. I was thinking the island countries or the Estrella empire was involved in this to sow discord.

“Miss Regina, please rest here. I’ll go hunting briefly and return.”
It seems the emperor has caught feelings that even he isn’t fully aware of yet.

Does the queen really think Delia would be better off in Boswell? She should know better. Whether enemy or ally, Delia would be treated as an object and used for her relation to the throne and ability to bear children. At least this way Delia can not only be happy but retain her dignity. Or is the queen perhaps grieving that her son will be deposed and wants to send Delia away so there is noone to replace the crown prince?
It’s hard to believe the princess has no allies within the palace, among the council or elders or even within the kingdom.
