“And we also have to get approval from the Council of Elders.”

“Oh, even the Council of Elders?”

“Of course. As a princess of Iorenti, I cannot get married if the council opposes it.”

“Why is it so complicated?”

“You have to follow the existing procedure. If not, the marriage is invalid. The national marriage is not something you can just do.”

Aaron furrowed his brows deeply with a gloomy heart.

“This is a scam. A clear scam contract.”

“A scam?”

“You promised to marry me, and you took me. But now you tell me to get permission?”

At Aaron’s childish grumbling, Delia burst into a cynical laugh.

Delia sat up and looked down at Aaron’s face.

Following her movements, soft golden strands gently swept across Aaron’s broad chest.

“Do you know who I admire most?”

“I don’t want to hear it. Don’t say it now.”

Delia responded to Aaron with a fresh smile.

“It’s our parents.”

Aaron’s furrowed brows never seemed to relax.

He wanted to pretend not to know till the end.

His heart was urgent, but why were there so many mountains to cross?

“So?”

“I want to get married with my parents’ blessing. To do that, I have to get permission.”

Delia reached out her hand and gently stroked Aaron’s forehead.

Aaron’s furrowed brows slowly relaxed under Delia’s touch.

“And the approval of the Council of Elders is needed to establish legitimacy. It’s the only way our marriage can be officially recognized. You still don’t like it?”

As Delia consoled him, Aaron let out a sigh.

If the princess was going that far, he had no other choice.

He had no other choice but to ask for permission from her parents.

He had no other choice but to get permission from the damn Council of Elders.

Having made up his mind, Aaron quickly racked his brain.

Threaten with power, send expensive jewels, and then……

“Then you, princess, should help. So I can get permission at once.”

As he spoke, Aaron kept moving his hands.

He gathered Delia’s soft hair and let it flow to one side.

Her hair flowed down tantalizingly, barely covering the hidden skin, and reached Aaron’s chest.

Aaron’s eyes heated up as they searched for the treasure hidden by the hair.

“Really? There is a way to get permission at once?”

Delia cocked her head, thinking about the demanding council members.

“It’s possible if the princess helps.”

“I will help with anything I can.”

At Delia’s agreement, Aaron softly curled up the corners of his mouth.

Aaron’s big hand slid down over her smooth shoulder, seeming to slip even the light.

His hand moved slowly down the middle of her back, along the spine.

Aaron’s touch became more intense as it descended.

“Let’s make a child. When they see a grandchild, they will give permission at once.”

“Commander Aaron Bergen.”

“When they see the royal grandchild, even the council will have to give permission.”

At Aaron’s blatant words, Delia’s face turned a bright red.

Even her tender earlobes seemed to catch fire, turning a bright red.

“No way.”

“Why? I think this is the best way to get permission.”

“The order is wrong. The order is. You have to get permission first.”

“Why is the order important? You, the princess, should cooperate.”

“I can’t cooperate with that.”

To escape from Aaron’s clinging hands, Delia tried to get up.

“Stop. I’m going to see our parents. I want to see if they are well.”

Aaron forcibly pulled Delia trying to escape and trapped her beneath him.

“I hid them in a safe place. Let’s do it one more time and I’ll take you there.”

“Please stop, commander. I’ve heard ‘let’s do it one more time’ since last night. I won’t be fooled by that.”

“We need to get permission quickly. Let’s do it once, ten times.”

Aaron’s hot lips sucked on the tender flesh below her jaw.

“No. Stop it.”

Whether their bodies were stuck together by the cozy atmosphere, despite Delia’s resistance, he didn’t fall away.

Tired from pushing him away, Delia sighed and grumbled.

“Hey, what is this? This is too strange.”

“What is?”

Aaron’s breath as he asked brushed against her concave collarbone.

“The commander said he would do as I asked. That he is loyal to me.”

“Yes. And?”

“And why doesn’t it go as I want? I feel like I’m being dragged around.”

Only then did Aaron part his lips, looking at Delia.

Seeing her grumbling below him with a face full of dissatisfaction, the corners of his mouth involuntarily curled up.

“That’s because I haven’t yet fully understood the path.”

“What?”

“When you take a large dog for a walk, sometimes the owner gets dragged along too. To get the dog to listen well, a little bit of adaptation training is needed.”

Aaron’s words seemed to stimulate Delia’s competitive spirit, and her voice grew considerably stronger.

“Oh? Then I need to train you strictly.”

“Strict training?”

“I need to properly tame you to listen to the master’s words. This way of doing whatever you please is problematic.”

At Delia’s robust voice, Aaron wore a pleased smile.

It was a pity that she fell asleep too early.

For Aaron, it was a situation he wanted to welcome with open arms.

“You’ve thought well, Master.”

“Master?”

Suddenly calling her master?

A startled Delia tilted her head.

“I like strict training. I also like gentle training. I especially like rough training.”

Aaron wore a meaningful smile and plunged into Delia’s embrace.

“Master, I simply like all types of training. Hurry and train me.”

Delia felt his hot breath brushing against her neck and finally understood.

How he had interpreted her words about strict training.

“No.”

Remembering last night, Delia vigorously shook her head, her face looking like she might cry.

“I don’t have the energy to train you now.”

She had been tormented until dawn. Again?

She needed to get away from him soon.

Desperately squirming, Delia tried to escape his space.

“Even if it’s just light exercise, let me do it, Master. If I just go like this….”

Aaron grabbed Delia’s waist and slowly pulled her in, whispering softly.

“I might turn wild.”

His smooth words contained a chilling energy that made her body involuntarily shrink.

Remembering the sensations of last night, Delia vehemently shook her head.

“No.”

He’s too big.

Too big indeed.

He was too large for Delia to handle.

Like an owner being dragged by a large dog, Delia was dragged into his vast embrace.

“Ah, I said no….”

Delia’s deep sigh was swallowed by Aaron.

The moist sound echoed between the floating dust particles in the light.

Soon, the clear air in the room became cloudy with the humid heat they were creating.

Male lead Asks for a Divorce Every Day

It’s not often you come across a plot like this in the female-dominant genre — make sure to check it out!

This is a novel I’m planning to reread as well.

The male lead is strong, skilled in martial arts, and not the usual fragile type you often see in matriarchal novels.

Meanwhile, the female lead is a scientist—rational and logical. Even when she falls for the male lead, she doesn’t let her emotions cloud her decisions.

If you push through the first few chapters, you’ll gradually find the story really intriguing.

It has a mix of mystery, detective elements, and romance.

The author’s writing style is like crafting a puzzle—except they deliberately leave out a few pieces, making it hard to predict what happens next, yet keeping you hooked.

In the end, everything will come together and be explained.

One-sentence summary: Wife, stop playing with beakers and look at me!

In a laboratory accident, research scientist Zhu Wansheng accidentally travels to a matriarchal world. The original owner of the body is an eighteen-year-old only daughter of a wealthy rouge merchant, already married with a handsome young man.

Zhu Wansheng grins: Nice! She always said she was heaven’s favorite granddaughter. After a life of toil in her previous life, she can enjoy blessings in this one.

However, her joy lasts no more than three seconds as bad news arrives: the original owner’s family is about to go bankrupt, and her husband wants a divorce.

Even worse, she’s stuck with a research system full of restrictions.

Zhu Wansheng: ? Is this the destiny of a research dog?

——

Faced with this mess, Zhu Wansheng pours herself a bowl of wine to drown her sorrows. In her drunken haze, her husband arrives.

His figure is imposing, holding a long sword, with a dignified air that captivates Zhu Wansheng.

Gu Yingqing, however, looks at the alcohol-reeking Zhu Wansheng with undisguised disgust and coldly asks, “Divorce or not?” The intoxicated Zhu Wansheng mumbles vaguely, “I think… it’s not… it’s not… impossible!”

——

The next day, after sobering up, Zhu Wansheng is full of energy, rolling up her sleeves ready to make a big move. As for yesterday? She has no memory of it.

Zhu Wansheng is ambitious; a research dog fears nothing!

Upgrading rouge, extracting fragrances, producing perfumes, researching lipsticks… all shall bow to the power of modern technology!

The original owner’s dying rouge shop is revitalized. Her mother is pleased and with a wave of her hand, passes on the family business to her. As she takes control and her experimental results gain popularity, it’s the pinnacle of her life…

——

But there are always those who can’t stand to see her doing well. Jealousy, scheming, assassination attempts – they want nothing less than her life.

The person who has always kept his distance from her suddenly holds her tightly in his arms, eyes full of concern.

She is unharmed, but he falls into a pool of blood…

Zhu Wansheng feels guilty, “I can grant you one wish.”

Gu Yingqing tentatively circles his arms around her, carefully resting his head in the crook of her neck, pleading softly, “I regret it. Can we not divorce?”

Zhu Wansheng: ? When did I agree to a divorce?

[Small Theater]

The newly developed rouge is beautifully packaged, and Zhu Wansheng is eager to try it.

Gu Yingqing suddenly appears: “My lady, may I apply it for you?”

Cool fingertips lightly brush her lips. His Adam’s apple bobs as he leans in for a light bite.

Zhu Wansheng: ?

Gu Yingqing: It smells so good, I wanted to taste it…

On a warm spring day, Zhu Wansheng tries a new perfume: “Spring Night.” Gu Yingqing corners her against a wall.

Warm breath lingers on her neck.

“My lady, from now on, may I test the fragrances for you?”
