Ju Hwa set her spoon down on the dining table.

Since barely a few spoonfuls had been taken, Gi Taek’s family grew tense.

The Blue House staff standing nearby felt the same way.

She turned to the butler and asked,

“Yesterday, it was late, so I let it slide—but seriously, what is this smell? Why does the house stink like this?”

The butler quickly stepped forward and replied,

“I’m very sorry, Chairwoman.”

Jeong Mi chimed in with an equally frustrated expression,

“That’s exactly what I was going to say! Butler Park, how on earth are you managing the house? Just because Sofia and I stepped out for a moment yesterday, you let things deteriorate to this state? What’s with all this rotten food stench?”

Seeing her chance, Sofia joined in as well.

“Exactly, Madam Butler. Both I and my Eui couldn’t sleep a wink all night because of this smell. Every time we breathed, it was so foul we nearly threw up.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Don’t just keep saying you’re sorry—answer me! What is this revolting, putrid stench?”

Butler Park looked utterly flustered.

“Tell us—now!”
