The Grand Temptation (Completed Main Story) - Side Story 3
A dark shadow fell over Woo Gyeol’s face.
He harbored a secret he could never reveal—not even to his closest friend, Jae Ho.
That secret was…
“Claire’s looking at you. She seems like she’s about to come over here.”
At Jae Ho’s words, Woo Gyeol jumped in surprise and quickly turned his back toward the opposite direction from Claire.
Claire was clearly about to propose with a bouquet in hand. But Woo Gyeol wasn’t in any position to get married—not yet, despite loving Claire more than anyone else in the world.

If he rejected her proposal, it would be no different from ending things with Claire forever.
Yet marriage was impossible, and he couldn’t bear to break up with her either.
Woo Gyeol decided he needed to slip away for a moment.
“Jae Ho, please hold Claire off and buy me some time.”
After entrusting Jae Ho with the cleanup, Woo Gyeol swiftly slipped away, rounding a corner of the old-fashioned mansion and dashing into a thickly wooded area.
As he scanned his surroundings for a good hiding spot, a man crouched at the far end of the wall caught his eye. The man was sucking on a lollipop with a bored expression.
“Mr. Hyun?”
He was the man once known as Manager Jin and referred to as Teacher Jin by Jae Ho. In truth, “Jin” wasn’t his surname but his given name—his real name was Hyun Jin.
