Yuli blinked blankly with half-closed eyes. It seemed she had slept straight for three or four hours. The surroundings were already dim, and Jae Ho was nowhere to be seen. Only Hyun Kyung was waiting for her in the living room.

“You’re finally awake. Are you okay?”

Yuli quietly nodded at Hyun Kyung, who looked worried. Hyun Kyung said nothing even after seeing Yuli wearing Jae Ho’s shirt. Instead, she hurriedly opened the suitcase.

“You should change your clothes first.”

Since it was luggage for their honeymoon, most of it was beachwear. Yuli picked up the long-sleeved sweater and the flare skirt that reached her knees, just in case. When she came out after changing, Hyun Kyung, who had been opening cabinets here and there, turned around.

“I’m going to have some tea. Want some too? I’m done with coffee. I’ve already had four cups.”

Finally finding the cabinet with the teapot, Hyun Kyung whistled as she reached for the tea and teapot, but Yuli cautiously spoke up.

“…Sorry, Hyun Kyung, but this isn’t Jae Ho’s house. It’s a client’s house. Could you be a little gentler?”

“Huh?”

For a moment, Hyun Kyung’s expression changed subtly. But soon she smiled as if nothing had happened and closed the cabinet door.

“Got it.”

She didn’t know why Jae Ho hadn’t told Yuli this was his own house, but it wasn’t something a third party like Hyun Kyung should meddle in.

“Oh, right. Your phone.”

Hyun Kyung quickly grabbed her bag, took out the phone from inside, and handed it to Yuli. There were several missed calls from Mrs. Ahn and Yoo Ri. She figured she should probably contact home.
