Too shocked that she might just sit down where she was, Yuri took a deep breath and calmed her trembling heart.

Slowly looking around, she entered the house. Fortunately, the intruder seemed to have already left. If their plan was to ambush her inside the house, they would have already done so. It seemed like the intruder only came in and searched around when she wasn’t there.

“If you ever need anything, contact Chief Kim. I’ve instructed him to answer your call immediately.”

Exactly 30 minutes later, Chief Kim arrived at the lobby of the apartment. Just like delivering food, he naturally placed the scanner on the dining table without asking any questions.

“The Congressman has requested your attendance at the gathering next week.”

“What would you like to do? Shall I come to pick you up on that day? I will report to the Congressman separately.”

It meant that he would provide assistance if needed and report directly to Representative Chae. Only then did Yuri seem to understand why Representative Chae had visited her that day. For some reason, he had clearly anticipated that something like this would happen.

“For now, go back. I will send you the details in a text message.”

After Chief Kim left, Yuri brewed coffee casually as usual, sat on the living room sofa, and turned her body toward the hidden camera to make herself visible.

It was easy to guess who might have done such a thing. On that day, Minwoo said the door was open, but it could have been otherwise. The door wouldn’t have closed unless it was caught in the shoe gap, as it had a function to self-close even if not properly closed.
