The Extra's Role is Too My Taste (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 39
“But it wasn’t on purpose. Back then, I really couldn’t ride….”
Running after him with this feeling made Brody’s mood bitter.
His deep black hair, the thick neck and shoulders built with muscle, the supple waist moving in perfect harmony with his horse, and thighs toned from real combat.
Her gaze kept drifting toward his back, but something about it felt oddly unfamiliar.
“No… should I say he feels strange?”
Now that she thought about it, this might be the first time she’d watched only his back for so long. Aidan had always held her, faced her, or stayed close by her side.
Though she wore a sturdy winter outfit and rode the horse under her own power—clearly not cold at all—her back still felt hollow, and Brody shivered slightly.
Apparently, being constantly close to him had already become a habit.
“Snap out of it. You said you’d work for the North—how can you be so dependent?”
Brody shook her head and forced her gaze forward.
Yet, his figure—seamlessly united with Kais as he galloped ahead—looked just like a scene from a film, and she repeatedly had to catch herself from unconsciously letting her eyes wander back to him.
They rode on, lost in thought, for quite a while. Even though they moved far slower than Aidan usually did when riding alone, Brody gradually began to feel overwhelmed.
Just as she was about to call out to stop him, unable to go any farther, a house came into view—thankfully.
“We’ll arrive soon.”
At his words, Brody mustered strength and nodded.

Male lead is a Love-Obsessed Merman
When he discovers she has gone, he risks everything to pursue her on land, enduring agonizing pain to transform his tail into human legs…

One-line summary: Male lead chases female lead. The male lead’s love is a bit sick, an invincible love brain.
Synopsis
During a voyage at sea, Jiang Yang accidentally captures a merman.
Servant: I heard that mermen are fierce and brutal.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman obediently rubbing her palm like a puppy: “You call this fierce and brutal?”
Servant: I heard that mermen have no human nature.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman with wet puppy eyes, obsessively calling her ‘A Yang’ like a childish infant: “You call this having no human nature?”
With great difficulty, she releases the merman back into the sea and returns to shore.
Who would have thought that in less than half a month, the merman, who should have been freely wandering in the South China Sea, would shed his scales, endure the pain of losing his tail, transform into human legs, and come ashore to find her?
He kneels at her feet, rubbing her palm, with merman tears rolling down: “A Yang, don’t abandon me.”
