Latua stood before them, his broad shoulders squarely set.

Then, taking a quick glance at Aidan and Brody, he abruptly grabbed the head of the white man and pushed it downwards.

The touch forced the white man to lower his head as if bowing.

Latua, who had also bowed his head, spoke.

“Thank you.”

“……Huh?”

The atmosphere had been tense, so when he suddenly thanked her, Brody blinked in confusion.

“Even if you don’t know, this guy must have messed up, right? Ah, should I have said, ‘I’m sorry’?”

Upon hearing Latua’s words, the white man opened his eyes wide and chuckled, his eyes rolling.

Despite having his head roughly grabbed, he didn’t seem displeased.

“But Adonia, what’s really going on?”

Latua asked as he gently rubbed his own stomach. It looked like he was worried that he, a Lufetian, might have gotten caught up in some trouble.

But it was Adonia who sounded concerned instead.

“Are you still hurting?”

“It’s killing me. What’s happening with this vomiting and diarrhea on a ship without a doctor? What about you? What’s the matter?”

Adonia slowly chuckled in response to Latua’s probing, his voice tinged with a nasal brightness.

“I~ lost my bracelet!”

“Wh[Dash]what?”

In an instant, Latua grabbed the white man by the scruff of his neck and pulled him close.

The man was hoisted into the air by Latua’s large hand.

“Lose your ID tag? Are you insane? We can’t disembark! We have to go back, you know? You’re saying we need to return for two nights and three days in this state? Ah, shit…”

“Hehe.”

Growling, Latua released him and rubbed his stomach again. After briefly grimacing, he hurried back into the ship’s interior.

He seemed to have rushed to the bathroom.

Aidan and Brody stood there, bewildered, looking at his retreating form.

Neither of them looked like priests at all.

“I’m sorry. He’s not a bad friend. Just a bit flustered.”

Brody awkwardly smiled and shrugged her shoulders, while Aidan squinted at the sky.

“A seagull took the ID tag. Is that even possible?”

At Aidan’s gesture, both Brody and Adonia looked up simultaneously. Several seagulls were visible on the tall mast, but neither could pinpoint which bird was meant.

“Do you see that……?”

Brody widened her eyes and asked.

“Mmm, I can see a shining silver piece in that bird’s mouth.”

“Ah……?”

Adonia exhaled deeply.

Was it a relief that it didn’t fall into the sea? But for Adonia, it made no difference whether it fell into the sea or was taken by a seagull.

“So, I just have to retrieve that?”

“Huh?”

Was it out of guilt for having discriminated against him as a ‘Lufetian’?

Aidan spoke to a sailor and borrowed a bow and arrows.

“Are you going to sh[Dash]shoot the seagull?”

“Just the bracelet.”

He drew the bowstring and took aim.

After calculating the angle, Aidan released the bowstring without hesitation.

“Caw!”

The startled seagull quickly fled the mast.

The arrow flew in an arc and lodged itself on the railing far at the stern.

Adonia, who had hurriedly chased after it, came back, his white robe fluttering.

“Ah, I might lose my hood!”

Brody looked anxiously at the rushing Adonia.

However, the wide-open mouthed Adonia seemed not to care about such things.

In one hand he held the arrow, and in the other, a shimmering metal piece.

“Sir! You’re like someone from a legend! How is this even possible? Wow… the arrow hit the chain as tiny as an ant’s face!”

“Stop making a fuss. I don’t want to draw attention.”

“Ah, yes! Sorry! But wow, wow!”
Aidan was taken aback. Normally when he spoke with such gravity, most people would fall silent and start to avoid him.

Yet this white hamster-like priest was still making a fuss, no matter how much Aidan scowled.

Brody rummaged through her pocket, amused by their exchange.

She then handed Adonia a solid ointment and herbs in the form of a pill.

“Apply the ointment yourself, Priest, and give this medicine to your companion. Taking it three times a day should help.”

“Is this for me? Wow!”

Adonia accepted the medicine with a smile. He was a peculiar person who seemed unburdened despite being openly discriminated against for being a Ryu’pe.

“Since I received a gift, I can’t just stand idly by. Madam, is there a part of your body that’s unwell?”

At Adonia’s question, Brody glanced at Aidan before responding.

“No, I was sick but now I’m better. However, I’ve been feeling a bit weak because I’ve been bedridden.”

“Ah, I see. Would you mind if I helped you recover using my holy power? As long as you’re not uncomfortable with it.”

“Is that possible?”

“Yes! For congenital issues, you’d need a high-ranking priest, but for recovery, my level should suffice.”

Aidan stood slightly behind Brody, silently observing.

Should she accept? Brody decided to go ahead, thinking Aidan would intervene if it turned out to be a bad idea.

“Then, please proceed.”

“Ah, yes.”

Although it was his jurisdiction, Adonia seemed somewhat surprised that she accepted.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most

One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.

This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:

1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.

It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.

(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)

2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.

The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.

3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.

Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).

Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.

Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.

4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).

5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!
