When I returned, Domingo and Sir Mild were tending to Alexandre, who still hadn’t awakened.

Philip said he’d gone to check whether we could prepare for the worst-case scenario.

I waited for Alexandre to wake up while drinking tea. Domingo and Sir Mild kept rubbing Alexandre’s eyes with eggs.

“How is His Highness doing?”

Domingo wiped his cold sweat in response to Philip’s question when he returned around evening.

“Other than the bruising around his eyes having mostly faded, there’s been no improvement.”

“……Hoo.”

Philip’s expression and the situation both looked grim. I, too, began to worry that Alexandre might never wake up.

‘I thought he was avoiding dead flags well enough to feel a bit relieved.’

Now, because of a landmine I planted myself, a new dead flag might emerge… Achieving my life goal of survival is proving difficult.

With a sigh, I briefly sent the two away and rubbed the sleeping prince’s eyes with an egg.
