The murmuring crowd returned to their places.
Sophia sat at the head seat, with Baron Ilon, the chief manager, to her left and Gurcus, the deputy manager, to her right.
Each relief center had its own officers responsible for managing supplies, facilities, and personnel.
Those gathered today were the managers of the capital’s relief centers and eight representatives of relief center directors.
The meeting began.

Thud! Ilon slammed the table and stood up.
Everyone fell silent at Ilon’s reprimand, though their faces remained filled with discontent.
