The Imperial University campus was brimming with the freshness of early summer.

‘Has it really been about three years…?’

A man walking slowly around the campus sank into thought. The centuries-old, antique buildings remained unchanged, yet something about the atmosphere felt different from before.

It was because of the cheerful laughter of women now filling the campus.

“Finally, the semester’s completely over!”

“Want to head into town? Let’s stop by the bookstore to pick up the newly released books and grab lunch together.”

“Sure! Let’s go quickly.”

Female students, having just finished their last class of the term, gathered in small groups and walked off with bright expressions. Just like the lush green leaves thickly covering the tree branches, their faces radiated vitality as they strolled across the campus.

Aidel, formerly the Grand Duchess and now Empress, had persistently championed not only women’s rights but also the cultivation of female talent. Since her ascension as Empress, she had launched scholarship initiatives enabling women—regardless of social status—to receive higher education at the university. Thanks to her efforts, the number of female students at the Imperial University had grown considerably compared to before.

“Look over there!”

“Oh my!”

A man effortlessly captured the attention of these female students as he strode through the campus grounds with his long legs. Sensing the gazes directed toward him, he pulled his fedora lower over his face and quickened his pace.

Though his eyes were hidden beneath the brim of his hat, the sharp contours of his face and his firm, statuesque figure beneath the tailored suit could not be concealed.

“Who could he be?”

“I don’t know who he is, but he’s absolutely dashing!”
