Ophelia, entering the room, spotted a woman sitting at the table by the window and briefly halted her steps.

The woman, slumped wearily against the table with her head bowed, looked especially fragile. Her profile, half revealed above her hands, was steeped in sorrow.

“Aidel…”

“Ah… you’re here? Ophelia.”

When Ophelia called her name, Aidel finally lifted her lowered head. Approaching swiftly with a worried expression, Ophelia asked gently,
