The day of Jupiter Empire University’s entrance ceremony dawned.

The square in front of the Partheon Theater, located within the university, was crowded with incoming students, their families, and journalists there for coverage.

“Rumor has it that Duchess Elyos, who’s entering the School of Administration, will give the freshman representative speech today.”

“Given that they select from the top students of each department, it’s highly possible. If that’s the case, we’ll finally see the face of the Duchess.”

Interest in Duchess Elyos’ appearance combined with excitement about enrollment had everyone chattering.

“Have you heard? Apart from Duchess Elyos, another very important person is entering the School of Administration.”

“A very important person? Is some foreign prince enrolling or something?”

“Exactly! The third prince from the Lysandro Empire is also enrolling in the School of Administration.”

Interest in the prince studying abroad from a neighboring empire was no less than that in the Duchess.

Passing through the crowd discussing him, Reynian calmly headed for the Partheon Theater where the entrance ceremony was held. No one recognized him as the topic of conversation, the neighboring empire’s prince, as he walked alone without any attendants.

The interior of the theater, usually a venue for university ceremonies, lectures, and concerts, boasted a high ceiling. Underneath a ceiling painted with scholars in search of truth, a large stage and ovalshaped seating unfolded.

Upon entering the theater, the grand ceiling painting instantly captured his gaze. After briefly admiring it, Reynian turned his head at the sound of a calling voice.

“Reynian, welcome!”

“Good to see you, Dean Jefferson.”

“I’ve been waiting for you. Please, this way.”

As if he had been waiting for Reynian, Jefferson guided him to the VIP seats. Jefferson pointed to an empty seat next to Reynian’s.

“Duchess Elyos, who is enrolling in the School of Administration, as well as Duke, will be attending today’s ceremony.”

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen Duke. I’ll be able to deliver my wedding congratulations in person.”

Reynian nodded lightly. After the greetings, Jefferson left to prepare for the upcoming ceremony.

The seat Jefferson had arranged for him offered a full view of the stage where the entrance ceremony was taking place as well as all the seats. Reynian’s eyes started actively searching for someone.

‘I wish I could exchange greetings with her, even for a moment…’

The woman he thought would be easily visible was nowhere to be seen.

Then it happened. The previously buzzing theater went silent in an instant.

Eyes naturally turned to where everyone else was looking. Standing at the entrance of the theater was a tall man capturing everyone’s attention.

‘Duke Elyos…’

Caeron, still perfectly composed, began walking toward Reynian’s VIP seat, guided by an attendant.

‘It doesn’t seem like the Duchess is with him.’

There was no woman beside the Duke as he ascended the steps toward the VIP area.

‘I heard that the Duchess would be attending this ceremony with him…’ A hint of puzzlement flickered across Reynian’s eyes, then vanished.

Still unaware that the woman he was looking for and the Duchess were the same person, Reynian thought of the invitation he had received recently.

‘I’ll see her at the royal banquet soon.’

A banquet to celebrate the Duke’s marriage was soon to be held by the Jupiter Royal Family.

As Caeron approached, Reynian stood up and greeted him with a handshake.

“It’s been a while, Duke.”

“It has, Prince Reynian.”

Caeron met eyes with Reynian, who was similarly tall, and they grasped hands. For a fleeting moment, their gazes seemed to scrutinize each other.

“I’ve heard you’re enrolling at Jupiter Empire University.”

“I’m pleased to be in Jupiter. I couldn’t attend the wedding, so I intended to greet you at the royal banquet. Though late, congratulations on your marriage.”

“Thank you. Let’s catch up at the banquet then.”
The two people who had exchanged greetings took their seats.

As the start of the entrance ceremony approached, Lainian’s eyes, slightly anxious, began to scan various parts of the theater again.

However, the person he was anxiously searching for was still nowhere to be found. A faint disappointment filled Lainian’s eyes.

“Do you happen to be looking for someone?”

Sensing Lainian’s appearance of searching for someone, Caeron slightly tilted his head and asked.

“Ah… actually, there is someone I wanted to see. I thought they would be at the entrance ceremony since they’re a freshman, but I don’t see them.”

Someone you wanted to see?

Upon hearing that Lainian, a prince still unfamiliar with this place, was searching for someone, both interest and caution filled Caeron’s eyes.

“If it is someone special to the prince, I could find out through my attendants.”

It probably was someone from Eupiter; there was a need to find out who they were. Just who had a close relationship with the prince of Lisandro…
