I’m so excited to see how the run-away trope is going to be played out in this novel. As you can tell from my excitement, i’ve read plenty other works of fiction with the same trope, but i really like the dynamic between Blair and Herdin, i’m also kind of waiting for him to remember his past life.
It’s really sad how she was so lonely and needed him when he wasn’t there, and then when she no longer needed him, he suddenly showed up. That timing feels so frustrating and unfair. I really hope she manages to escape from him, leave him behind, and that the story ends like that.

What i like the most about this novel is that it has no boring moments, because it doesn’t refrain from showing everyone’s pov. I like the way Blair thinks, even though she’s misunderstanding Herdin hardcore, it’s actually very realistic of her to want to leave him, thinking that he abandoned and killed her in her first life.
