The Duke Only Needs My Child (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 47
The person most delighted by his unexpected arrival was not Blair, but Baroness Cionel.
“Just in time, Your Grace! A couple’s outfit truly comes alive only when both of you wear it together—it makes the final fitting so much easier.”
She chirped excitedly in her characteristically high-pitched voice, thrilled perhaps at the chance to see her creation worn by the finest models.
“Now then, girls—help them both.”
Baroness Cionel snapped shut the fan she held with an audible click. At that signal, her assistants swiftly and uniformly ushered Blair and Herdin into the dressing room.
Rina and Melly exchanged glances and smiled proudly. Then, catching Mason’s eye, Rina gave him a thumbs-up.
After all, it was largely thanks to his repeated urging that Herdin had come all this way.
Though Mason showed no outward emotion as usual, his expression seemed subtly softened.
Just as Ruth watched the three of them with suspicious eyes, Herdin emerged first from changing. Soon after, Blair also stepped out of the dressing room.
Both wore deep blue attire. The dark-toned garments strikingly accentuated their fair complexions and sharp features.
Though unsuited for the bright daylight outside, the color was perfect for an evening banquet.
Seeing them, Rina thought:
‘Honestly… they really do suit each other.’
Setting aside background, personality, and everything else—if judged solely on appearances—she had to admit there was no man in the entire empire more fitting to stand beside Blair than him.
And it seemed she wasn’t the only one who thought so.

After Being Cheated On, She Picked Up a Treasure (Female-dominant)
One-line summary: The husband I married on a whim had been secretly in love with me for a long time.
On the day when Jun Shao finally obtained the imperial decree for her marriage, Lan Qu, the person she had admired for six years, defied the decree and ran away.
Her gentleness and devotion, her promise of a lifetime together, were all disregarded by him. Instead, he dreamed of entering the palace to serve the Emperor’s sister as a sixth-rank attendant.
News of this incident spread throughout the capital, and the alleys in front of and behind the Lan mansion were crowded with people who came to watch the commotion.
Jun Shao should have been embarrassed and angry.
But someone stepped in to protect her dignity.
The figure was in a miserable state, yet still possessed an undeniable elegance and handsomeness.
The young lord struggled to climb the wall of the Lan mansion and shouted to her, “If he won’t marry you, I will!”
So, Jun Shao took advantage of the situation and married the person.
She thought the young lord did it to save the Lan family from the crime of defying the imperial decree, but never imagined that from beginning to end, what he coveted was her.
*
After the wedding, Jun Shao felt like she was living in a dream.
Her Wife-master was as beautiful as a fairy in a painting, skilled in the six arts, well-versed in poetry and literature, capable of being gentle and attentive, and also grand and dignified. Most importantly, she was the only one in his heart and eyes.
Jun Shao didn’t know how Lan Shiwu, as a illegitimate son without a father and blessed with beauty, had managed to preserve his purity, recklessly escape, and use his last ounce of strength to ruin his own reputation, all because of his love for her, just to stand before her.
She could only see him gazing at her with eyes full of love, and when she bestowed a name upon him, his eyes shone like stars.
“You have come to me like a weary bird perching on a branch. I shall call you A Qi.”

Yes, she really has no shame. Who does she think she is? I have never heard anything like this in my entire life. This is really something new. Now that’s truly shameful. She clearly hasn’t learned any manners.
As Blair scanned the lively banquet hall, her eyes landed on her husband.
I imagine how intimidating Heirdin must seem to others; we don’t see him that way because of Blair’s perspective (who no longer feels so intimidated by him).
