“Are you injured anywhere?”

Mikhail was the first to check on Blair’s well-being.

Blair blinked in surprise at Mikhail’s unexpected appearance, then nodded.

“Thanks to you. But how did you know to come here?”

The knights, who had been wary of the stranger’s arrival, relaxed their guard upon seeing Blair’s reassuring gesture.

Mikhail glanced once toward the horde of monsters heading toward Nerha, then spoke.

“I was on my way to Nerha. While avoiding the monsters’ path, I noticed they had stopped moving nearby, so I came to investigate. It’s fortunate I arrived in time to help.”

“You’re heading to Nerha? Even after seeing that?”

At Blair’s question, Mikhail merely offered a dry smile instead of an answer.

On the day he had confronted Gerard, Mikhail had been buried beneath the rubble of the collapsed villa.

Having sustained critical injuries from his battle with Gerard, he had barely survived by gathering his remaining holy power to cast a protective barrier just before the debris crushed him.

However, having exhausted all his holy power to maintain the barrier, he couldn’t immediately heal his wounds and lost consciousness. He was later rescued by Anna and his subordinates.

Hovering between life and death due to his grievous injuries, Mikhail only regained enough strength days later to begin healing himself using holy power.

It took him a full two days just to recover enough vitality to barely manage self-healing.

The first thing he asked upon regaining consciousness was whether his subordinate who had accompanied him to the villa had survived.
