“Shall we go see the Harvest Festival?”

Blair, who had woken up late and was having breakfast alone, widened her eyes upon hearing the maid’s suggestion.

“Yes, because today is the last day of the Harvest Festival. On the final day, shops often sell high-quality goods at low prices, and since many people come out to enjoy the closing festivities, there’s plenty to see.”

As she said this, the maid recalled the instruction she’d received from Ruth that morning.

‘Take my lady out to enjoy the festival.’

In truth, this had been Ruth’s idea.

Though he didn’t know the exact details of their situation, Ruth understood Blair’s feelings.

But if one thought rationally, staying by Herdin’s side was far better now that she was carrying a child.

Of course, it would have been ideal if Herdin could join them to enjoy the festival, but he seemed too busy with other appointments today. Moreover, forcing two people who’d just quarreled together might only worsen their relationship.

Thus, he’d suggested the maid take Blair out to enjoy the festival instead.

“And besides, the festival in this seaside village is quite different from those held in the capital, isn’t it? You probably won’t get another chance to see Nerha’s festival again, so I think you should go out and enjoy it.”
