Under the protection of three individuals, Kael grew into a formidable elite warrior of Vaschker and consistently proved his worth wherever he went.

Though his appearance differed slightly from that of typical Vaschker natives, Kael achieved the remarkable rank of fourth in the Vaschker Empire, in accordance with Vaschker culture wherein strength determined one’s status.

This meant he stood above all others except the seemingly untouchable Emperor Ikar, as well as Vain and Drhan.

These abilities had been naturally acquired since childhood, as Kael had persistently followed Ikar, Drhan, and Vain around. After all, the trio possessed monstrous talents even among Vaschker’s warriors.

Whether it was Vain shattering house-sized boulders with his bare fists, Drhan casting spells to command beasts, or Emperor Ikar wielding every ability the others possessed…

Though some of these tales might have been mere rumors, Kael had witnessed enough to confirm they weren’t entirely baseless.

And such early training steadily shaped Kael into who he was.

Or rather, more precisely, he ended up noticeably taller than others—by a full head—and developed a well-proportioned, handsome musculature.

But that wasn’t all.

He also learned many things: how to think efficiently, how to utilize his physical prowess with exceptional skill, and more.

The driving force behind his mastery of all these things was his desire never to disappoint Ikar.

He believed this was the only way to survive within Vaschker.

Thus, Kael studied extensively about Vaschker’s history, culture, politics, and more.

During this time, he also made sure never to forget about Paradium.

After all, Paradium was the place he would one day have to return to—and though Ikar had never explicitly said so, it seemed clear he wanted Kael to become Paradium’s next emperor.
