The Day I Quit Being a Wife (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 21
In the early dawn, Eun Soo woke from sleep.
She hadn’t had a frightening dream, yet her body was drenched in cold sweat.
Pale morning light filtered through the gap in the curtains that failed to fully cover the window.
Hyuk Joo lay utterly still, seemingly lost in deep slumber. Eun Soo quietly gazed down at his face, barely visible in the dim twilight.
Even in sleep, his neat and handsome features retained a dignified composure. Upon reflection, she realized he had never once shown her a disheveled or unguarded side.
“…….”
Recalling each perfect image of her husband, Eun Soo held back the sob rising between her lips.
His relentless composure, never revealing a single crack, left her heartsick.
It felt like a firm refusal to ever truly let her in.
Carefully muffling her mouth with her hand, E as not to wake Hyuk Joo, Eun Soo slowly rose from the bed.
Stepping into the living room, she saw the outside world still cloaked in lingering darkness.
“Hah.”
She moved closer to the window and breathed out. On the fogged glass, she absentmindedly traced meaningless lines with her finger.
As time passed, those clear marks on the pane vanished completely, as if they’d never existed.
Eun Soo stared blankly at the window, unwilling to let go, then sank down onto the floor right where she stood.

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”

The extreme miscommunication is getting on my nerves now.
