Standing in front of Chairman Moon’s room, she knocked swiftly and immediately opened the door. Chairman Moon, who was reading a newspaper, looked up.
Seeing him look at her with such a nonchalant expression, Young-ran sneered.
“What is this all about?”
She yelled, approaching Chairman Moon. With her loud voice, Chairman Moon took off the glasses he was wearing.
“Why are you moving Hyuk-ju’s stuff on your own accord?”
“Because it’s Hyuk-ju’s belongings.”
“What?”
“Since they’re Hyuk-ju’s belongings, it’s only natural they’re moved to where Hyuk-ju will be staying.”
Chairman Moon spoke matter-of-factly, as if wondering why such an obvious matter was being questioned. Young-ran felt a heat rising within her.
It seems that right after Hyuk-ju left, Chairman Moon entered the house. Had the two met and discussed something in the meantime?

“Was this Hyuk-ju’s request?”
“It was something I wanted to do. So, stop concerning yourself with it.”

Young-ran combed back her hair and took deep, ragged breaths. She was taken aback by Chairman Moon’s sudden change in attitude towards her.
After all, who had elevated him to his esteemed position in society? Did he now want to rebel against her, neglecting her benevolence?
She knew that Chairman Moon, her younger brother, harbored resentment due to the incident involving Olke.
However, him serving her obediently all these years was practically an acknowledgment that the matter was settled. Young-ran had never doubted this belief.

Young-ran’s ears turned red with anger.
Her voice trembled with every word she spoke out of anger. But Chairman Moon’s face remained unchanged.
He looked bored, as if he’d been through such situations countless times.
Rubbing his dry face with his palm, Chairman Moon took a deep breath.
“Do you think I’ve forgotten what you did to me?”
