Raven, who had just revealed his name, abruptly left the spot.

He cast a suspicious glance at me—as if puzzled that I’d not only freed him from his restraints but even handed him a dagger—but he didn’t voice his doubts aloud.

“It wasss jussst a coincidence. I found her.”

“I see. Still, returning your weapon to you… I’m not sure if that’s wise.”

Sione seemed deeply uneasy about Raven carrying a blade.

Especially since a dagger could be thrown, making it a potential weapon for assassination—capable of attacking someone unseen if one truly intended to.

‘But it felt like something very precious to him.’

It belonged to his mother.

He already knew my identity as a princess, yet instead of demanding money or jewels, he asked for this old dagger—so it must be truly important to Raven.

If his mother had passed away, perhaps this was all that remained of her.

“If anything happens, I’ll take responsibility. Don’t worry.”

“Hoo… If that’s Lady Bella’s wish, I suppose there’s nothing to be done. I’ll tell Rosa to be more vigilant.”
