The guard stationed at the shipyard entrance grumbled as he approached, but froze abruptly upon seeing Lisi’s group.

His eyes shifted from Kai’s black hair to Lisi’s pink locks, and then to Tommy’s gray-green hair.

Swallowing hard, the guard dashed inside to announce Duke Green’s arrival.

Lisi’s group, bewildered by the guard who’d suddenly darted inside, now tensed up as a crowd of shipbuilders swarmed toward them.

Eugene and Wallace’s hands slid slowly toward the swords at their waists, while Erwell and Krishina stepped in front of Lisi, ready for any emergency.
